My original "I hate the council day" has now turned into "I want to set fire to the council and declare my house an independant country day"

A letter today informs me that owing to the laying of cable, the footpath and consequently my driveway, will not be available for use until the 9th of February. And because a town planning notice was on display at the council chambers last year, there's nothing I can do because I was forewarned.

I'm starting to think that Wonko The Sane may have been right.
