Really enjoyed this rally!
A pretty good rally i would say, marshalls were mostly a lot easier to deal with and more sensible although you do get the odd one. A couple of weeks later makes the day a couple hours shorter that's my only complaint, saw 4 stages in the dark out of 11 + shakedown.

One of the few rallies I've followed that made me feel that I really needed to follow every single stage in order not to miss out on any action. Also, a good job from the WRC+ team. Some more technical stages and it would've been a 10/10
Also no flaws with WRC+ team. The only hiccup was that the time interval between SS 9 to 10 (and 12 to 13) was too short so the transmitter aeroplane had to move to from stage to stage while the stage was already running and we missed some minutes of action. But that's more of an error from the itinerary planning.

My 14th Rally Sweden and it was a special one to remember. Improved from last year, already everything much easier. Umea is the right choice - bring on 2024 :)

Btw, this is the first time Ott has lead the championship since he won his title back in 2019, hopefully a sign of things to come ;)
The amazing part isn't that he only has one stage win. It's the combination of one stage win together with one rally win and championship lead.
Well like Ott said, they kept close to the top times throughout the weekend, and they also had some luck on their side with Craig's hybrid system not working on Saturday, which otherwise might of made it a different case for Ott. Besides, don't forget the efforts of Thierry & Craig made sure Rovanperä wasn't on the podium.

Too soft set-up change by Neuville caused his PS mistake...

Dirtfish will spin up everything, typ: "Kalles hairstyle caused delayed head movement with helmet thus he could not react on deep oversteer before the spin.." , or, "Katsuta revealed the cause of his off - there was too tasty grilled sausage smell one bend before" and so on for next 3 weeks. 😁

I like Cyril. The guy seems to have balls
I agree. It's a stark contrast compared to last year, at least what we saw in the public domain. In a way Abiteboul reminds me of Adamo, but he is less charismatic. And that's not an issue at all.
The good thing coming from F1 is that Abiteboul is accustomed to the game of politics. Mr. Testoni now has a strong adversary :D

Not DF spin, it was Neuville's own words...
"I made a small mistake,” Neuville admitted. “The gap was small with Craig, so I tried to do well, but the feeling wasn’t the same as in the previous stage.
“I softened probably too much the car, and I struggled with the feeling."

Hi guys, I'm new to Rally and I have a question...
What happened before the last stage of Rally Sweden with Breen? He got a 10 second penalty and I know it was intentionally to swap position with Neuville... But what they have done to get that penalty?
They checked in to the time control one minute late = 10 second penalty. Before the start of each stage (and before/after service etc), you have a time control (TC) where you have to check in on your correct time according to your time card. The time is calculated from one TC + a nominal road section/service time = correct time to check in to the next TC.
Here's all penalties during this rally, including Breens.
