Sorry about the delay I have been away on a film location. It's TV pilot season and just going nuts right now. New photo below.

AJ Foyt
Surfers Paridise '92
Lola t900
Correct, it`s Foyt in Australia. The car was 2 years old Buddy Lazier`s backup Lola (still in Leader Cards colours) loaned to Walker Racing for Foyt who actually did not plan to race there but took some laps on thursday in a pace car which allowed him to start the race from the back of the pack. Transmission trouble ended his day on lap 2.Gregor Foitek drove Foyt`s own Copenhagen car at Surfers Paradise.
Your turn.
Very cool photo. I forgot he raced there.Quote:

politics has destroyed our sport.........
It so odd seeing AJ not in his 14. It just dosen't seem natural. You know the deal... Driver, race, car

As for the offending photo - while totally out of place I cannot help but think it is a leaked spy photo of NASCAR's "car of the day after tomorrow" minus the rear wing.... either that or what NASCAR is going to make Toyota run in the truck series to equalize the competition............
NASCAR's "car of the day after tomorrow" :laugh:Quote:

ok, here isthe next one.

Well, convertibles were popular in the 50's so Nascar raced them, and we all know about the truck series, so it's just the next logical progression. The new NASCAR mini-van series. One special rule, no single drivers without kids! :DQuote:

The "NASCAR Graco mini-van series presented by Pampers".... :D
It could be a great platform for the development of better child restraint seats.....
Anyway, back to the picutre at hand.
Driver is right
car is right
year and track are wrong........
Then it's 1973 PoconoQuote:

So Chris, I know you've got 3 littleun's, What are you all driving? We've got a 2004 Chrysler Town & Country. And to think, I swore I'd never drive a mini-van. :dozey: Oh well, nothing like parenthood :D
Our primary car is a 2003 Honda Odyssey which we just put an overhead DVD player in and are bitingthe bullet and putting on a trailer hitch so we can haul all of our bikes (my wife is too short to reach a roof rack...). Like you, I never imagined we'd drive a mini-van but it is pretty nice....
Having previously owned a couple of warmed over Mustangs and a Honda S2000 it bothers me a bit that I only aspire to a slightly nicer minivan for our next vehicle - but - hey - the kids are a blast..... :p
Oh, any you've got it - Donahue in 1973 at Pocono... In the original, slightly bigger picture you could tell it was the Pocono scoring tower.....
Your turn!!
You guys are sad about the minivans. :)Quote:
