The "Mikulás Rally" isn't the last round! The "Zemplén Rally" is the last, but the organisers deleted the race, because financial problems. So the championship ended at in the "Nyírád Rally".

Peugeots totaly destroyed their opponents in Algarve. More than 3 minutes gap between Magalhaes and Fontes is far too much. Did Fontes have some problems or was he just so much slower?

José Pedro Fontes had some problems before the rally, he has changed the engine by other with less power, and he was more cautious after his big crash in the previous rally of the championship.

Wow, I have just been looking at the results of Rally Algarve and who do I see in the seventh place?! Good old Adruzilo Lopes in the little Clio R3! Good to see the former champion still competing...

If the rumours are true, Benik will be there in the Mikulás with his Focus. Or his father, Jozsef Benik will race with it.

They say that there was a huge scandal in rally du Var.

Cuoq, Salanon and Rouillard are said to be cought on forbidden recce but penalised only by 20 seconds and some money penalty. Rouillard was later excluded because of some incident with organisers. Petroleum company Total threaten to stop their FFSA support.

Jaromir Tarabus will start whole season 2008 in Czech championship (except Sumava) with Fiat Grande Punto S2000.
