Not history exactly, but does anyone know what rallies and with what driver the cars with these two number plates took part in? Both cars are Citroen C2s.

I think one is Ogier at Rally Condroz 2008 but not sure which one, and thus what the other one is. Thanks.
Someone have the complete classement and entry list ?

Hi Friends,
I'm interested what is the REAL first name of the winner of 1981 Barum Rally. I'm also looking for the other his photos.
http://www.barum.rally.cz/2005/soute...de1/1,1_gb.htm
In the official webpage of Barum Rally is showed two name:
1. in the text: In 1981 it was their compatriot Andrea Zanussi with Porsche 911 SC who gained the victory.
2. under photo: Antonio Zanussi
http://www.barum.rally.cz/2005/soute...to/zannusi.jpgAntonio Zanussi (Porsche 911 SC)
It's Andrea Zanussi.
Winner´s name is : Antonio Zannusi not Andrea.
Are you sure? It's Andrea in a record book I have?
Does any italian (or otherwise) member know for sure if there is co-driver named Stefano Cassina? There is some confusion about who co-drive Michele Rayneri in four WRC events in 1986 - I heard that all of those were by Carlo Cassina. Yet, I have two with Stefano and confirmed by World Rallying and Rallycourse books.
Jirka has absolutely right ! For sure, Antonio !Quote:

I used World Rallying as my source as well. This website also mentions a Stefano Cassina as co-driver of Rayneri in the 1987 Targa Florio, but the photo is too small for me to able to read the co-driver name on the side of the car:Quote:

But that is the only mention I can find of a Stefano Cassina. So I guess this is a mistake (although hard to explain why both World Rallying and Rallycourse made it) and it was Carlo Cassina who co-drove Rayneri in those years.
Yeh - life is full of mysteries so I assume I can take this at face value and put Carlo as co-driver on those entries. Cheers, Tjeerd... :)
I feel a bit dizzy after watching this. :D

Does anybody know if there is a Rallying Hall of Fame?
I tried to search on google, but could not find anything. Let me know if you have any hints.
Putting together historical piece on Porsche 911 wins at the Monte in the late 60's.
Question:Can someone confirm that the Group1/2/3 clasifications used on the 1969 edition were the same used in later years, until the coming of Group A and B?
It appears as if the first year for Group 4 on the Monte was 1970.
Thanks,
Tannat
The titles (numbers) of the categories was the same from 1.1.66. to 31.12.81. but the detail varied considerably over the years. The "modifications freely permitted" in each group (quite separate from homologated "options" and "production alternatives") changed frequently. So the actual detailed regulations were not always the same year to year within each group. Gp2 (where the 911L was homologated) was probably affected by changes more than the others.
I would have thought a Gp2 911L was more potent than a Gp3 911S and much the same as a Gp4 911S, with only the 911T arriving in Gp4 with different heads providing much more performance?
All the major events would normally have had Gps1-4 categories. The Monte was run to a handicap system of some sort for many years later than many may now think it was and it may be that the Gp4 category was handicapped in some years so severely that few entered it. I would be surprised if there was no such category at all any year but maybe that was so.
(if pre-68 911s had been as consistently quick in period as they are now in British historic rallying, the entire history of the sport would have been very different.....)
Wow-think I'll avoid this issue in the writing.Quote:

In this thread on French sport-auto Forum Françoise Conconi (fc-06) confirms that she was born on 12 May but she does not reveal in which year.
From contemporary statements about her age I think it must have been 1944 or 1945. So my assumption is she will turn 65 soon.
Thanks Reinhard! Dates are online now.Quote:
