It looks like Renato Travaglia will be official driver of the Abarth Team in CIR(Italian Championship)this year
Yes seems like it.... here is a foto of the 2008 Abarth Livery,,,http://www.jackdekeijzer.com/images/...ne1024_579.jpg
As I know Travaglia and Navarra will run for Fiat but not under official colors... they will run with satellite teams...Quote:

Great news!!!
I think Travaglia deserves it!!!
Robert Butor will drive Suzuki Swift S1600 in 3 IRC rounds: Barum, Valais and Portugal or Ypres. He will also test the new SX4 S2000.

I would like too see Robi in the SX4 S2000 as soon as possible!!!
Great driver
This is not official yet, he won't participate this year in the hungarian championship, but that doesn't neccessary means anything ;)Quote:

What does this story say: http://www.ewrc.cz/ewrc/show.php?id=7766
Kresta will do Czech championship in a Mitsu Evo IX but aims to do Barum in an S2000 car? I think he should be a strong candidate for the BFGoodrich-Kronos 207 in Barum!
Yes, he will do 6 rounds of Czech int. champ (points from maximum 6 of 9 events are counted), five of them with Evo 9 and Barum with non-speciffied S2000 car. He will start most probably at Valasska rally, Sumava, Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Barum and one another event.
Both are built in South Africa,Quote:

I bet Mr Max Mosley from the FIA will follow the idea for IRC
Are you sure it's not about the normal rule change that was allready announced this year?Quote:

Wow, Tom wake up :) It is normaln rule, which is in FIA regulation from beginning of this year for all championships...
You can't blame him, his name is 206WRC, not 207S2K ;)
Tom: As Pluto said, it is a rule which is applied for current season from it's start. But Peugeot 207 S2000 weight in tarmac speciffication is some 1170 kg. The new limit is 1150 kg (old limit was 1100 kg). Where is any extra weight? :)
Tom,they realised that 1100 kg was too optimistic for current S2000s,so they raised it up.
As Mirek said, the 207 weighs 1170 kg so there is no more actual weight
Ok ;)
Alessandro Perico yesterday officially presented the car and his program in CIR 2008. The car is a brand new peugeot 207 s2000 from Munaretto.

Malik Unia in an official 207 S2000 from Peugeot-Sport Réunion(PSR)on the Réunion island rallies championship this season !! :bounce:
The "african french island" championship will have another S2000 running, Olivier Payet in a Fiat Grande Punto... ;)
Pics and video of Enrique Garcia-Ojeda testing in preparation of the 2008 spanish rallies championship ;)

The car on the video should be Evo 2 version :)
Would love to know how many drivers have used the S2000's - who has used what car on what eventsQuote:

OK, we are working on a project of S2000 database. Some people here on forum knows about it, but it is still in progress and programing (and layout) aren't finished yet...
Ah, that's nice... :)Quote:
