No torch here, but using same stages or parts of them over and over again ( more than two times), isn´t that making it even more boring...?
Good for spectators live, but...
Repeated stages makes it significantly easier for the organisers, they need to find and close less roads and need fewer marshals (latter is important in rallies where marshals are volunteers and in short supply, like in Finland). Also competitors need less recce but suffer from broken up roads on re-runs.Quote:
