Wrc Rally Argentina 2013

Looks like Ostberg hit a rock and broke steering arm. Very unfortunate

I know I'm annoying with that but how the hell can there be a superally of 5 minutes for 52 km long stage? That just makes no sense if retired crews are faster than half of the competitors! Pozzo finished with problems but he is 1 minute slower than Oliviera who is sitting in service. Can You imagine what it is to drive 52 km long stage without power steering to be beaten by retired guys? That's just a farce.

Ogier already won 4 of 5 stages and built a nice cushion. Early signs of another consecutive steamrolling unless Citroen manage to decrease the gap and keep it alive for at least the final day.

I am in favor of superally but agree that fixed penalty is a nonsense. It should depend of the stage length.

It's senseless, indeed. I much more prefer the solution they use for ERC - retired guys are out of the main standings and are allowed only to fight for bonus points.

It make sens in ERC, M. Wilson said that already he won't restart any cars otherwise. At the moment when we have 10-12 WRC cars is worth it when you can still score points at least for the team. Monte is best example when on the last day there are couple of WRC cars. Unfortunately there is not enough teams, top drivers and money to make WRC interesting without Rally2.

Certainly not with MSport Ford, they are jinxed... anything that can go wrong, will go wrong ... :rolleyes:

I can hardly remember a recent WRC rally where a Ford was still in real contention after Day 1... Their best driver always seems about 1m30s behind... :(

No wonder Official Ford pulled the plug.

How many steering arms has broken on Fords vs the other brands last 5 years? Seems like they are a weak point with the Blue Oval.
