In overall counts only best 4 results. For a win get 50 pts and plus 10pts for "PowerStage" as usually short spectator stage at rally start.
Before R6 we have this situation

To match current Khomitslyi position, at final round contenders needs:
- Kozlov to score 55 pts (rally win 50pts + 3rd on power stage 6pts)
- Korzun to score 58 pts (rally win 50pts + 2nd on power stage 8pts)
This two only have mathematical chances. But if Khomitsky finish 2nd on last rally (40pts) or win powerstage + 4th on rally (35pts) - he will be a champion.
First two 'parallel run' stages on Saturday must be a combined "power" stage. But due to stage condition and huge rain, organizers forced to cancel two spectator stages. No power stage - no points, that mean Khomitskyi is already a champion. But drivers decide that it's no a rally spirit to win that way. And all of drivers (including Khomitskyi) signed petition to organizer to run SS3 as power stage.

All title contenders do exact what they need. Khomitskyi win 10pts, Korzun 2nd with 8pts, Kozlov 3rd with 6pts.
In big water paddles Kozlov and Khomitskyi Subaru's got problems with engines and turbo.
Khomitskyi - retire.
Kozlov with huge timelose, broken dumpers, broken wheel, broken airfilters, broken turbo, broken handbrake, broken sensors - managed to finish 2nd.
Rally win goes to Korzun and water-free problems on Mitsubishi Evo9.
And after all final standings was:

According to rules, if equal on points - advantage give to who finish higher on last round... And it was Korzun.

Khomitskyi sign a pettition on Saturday that left without a title, but it was a brave and men's decision.

Looking at those photos from Jänner Rally testing- who is Philip Kreisel? I've haven't found any rally history from this driver….
He´s of Kreisel Electrics, a local company from rally headquarter town Freistadt, which will deliver the electric parts for World Rallycross Championship from 2021 onwards. Also Raimund Baumschlager plans to start with an electric driven Skoda Fabia from Kreisel in Austria beginning in 2021.Quote:

Yes, the only correct thing to do against the illegal recce is exclusion from the event. That is however also the issue. Very few organizers are so bold to actually do that especially if they can loose some top crews.
In the end it's a viscious circle. As long as the organizers close their eyes the illegal recce will continue.

Ucci don’t write bull...t, Avbelj did Rally Zeelzniki few times before his really first attempt there in R5. Correct me if I’m wrong, he did course car with Evo 9 so, this year it was his first rally season with R5 car, but not first time in a rally car.

In Belgium is one of the worst situations with illegal recce I have seen during last years. I was surprised that some drivers were doing illegal recce two days before rally, when marshalls were preparing the stages. During that time they were going few times during that stage and with completely same car, which they use for normal recce, so it was very easy to see who it is...Quote:

The main problem with that is that while you can be king at home doing plenty of illegal recce in the same time it makes you laughably slow abroad when you drive new stages. This is IMHO the primary reason why very few drivers are able to drive well abroad.Quote:

Big discussion in German forum about Simon Wagner´s not mounting gravel suspension on snowy day two of Jänner Rallye, so he couldn´t use the small studded 15 inch tyres and therefore lost the lead and finally the rally. In an interview he said the change would have taken too long in late service (60 minutes), later he said his team Eurosol didn´t had the necessary parts. Both sounds implausible, because he had just won Waldviertel Rallye in November, which is mostly gravel. Now there is the word going that he didn´t include the small studded tyres in his pre-event tyre choice of 18 tyres, which each driver had to name before the rally. Each possibility sounds mysterious, because he is one of the top drivers of Austria and Jänner Rallye even is his home rally, he´s living in the rally area.
Portuguese Manuel Castro will drive a Skoda Fabia R5 EVO in Portuguese Rally Champ after selling one of his Hyundai I20 R5.
His former car is now in Spain in hands of Blai Pons
