What can we expect next PDS?
Ah! But is it a model or the real thing?
Not finished yet....
What scale have/are you doing the model in? I'm guessing 1/18?
This one is. It has been made for the team.
Mine will be 1/43rd as usual..
ive just managed to get hold of the Spark Carl Breeze BTCC Alfa Romeo 156 from ebay for £21 and i think thats good because they seem to be really rare to find
It's a shame Spark have never as yet produced anymore BTCC models (apart from the RAC BMW).
Yeah it seems the ones they have done are really good quality and they always seem to do a good job of the WTCC BMW's although this year they didnt bother making a facelift 1/43 car so hopefully they will if they do the 2010 WTCC BMW's
I did buy a HPI Volvo Estate in the end, the Rydell version, and i have to say it really is a stunning model, better in my opinion than the Minichamps version too, and more than three times better than the Motorpro version ;)
Think i payed £35 in the end, a bargain easily, even £42.99 is a bargain for one of these.
I'll second that..Quote:

I have now completed my set of 1994 Nissan Primera's :D
Please see the links to the photos as I'm having trouble uploading onto here.

I can now move onto the 1995 Cavalier's
I can see a few of you have looked at the Primera's, I now have a few more for you to have a look at! :)
I have now finished by 1995 Cavalier's of Thompson & Cleland (not quite the full set as I would like to do an Allam as well but can't get hold of a model). They came out well but not as good as I liked and I had a couple of problems with the wheels and windows. :(
I have also updated my list with a few other models that I hadn't added before, (1984 Rouse Rover, 1985 Hodgetts Escort and a couple of ONYX models) and taken out others to make it just 1/43 scale BTCC cars. Now only need 2 ONYX models (1998 Rydell & 1997 Harvey) and 1 Minichamps (1995 Rydell), does anyone know where I might be able to get one from (apart from ebay) or is willing to sell?
Here are the links

i hope you enjoy as much as I do. Not sure what my next project will be.
I need the 1998 Rydell models as well but they have been fetching silly money lately. I seen 1 go for over £100 and couldn't believe it. The one that ended a few weeks ago went for just over £40 and I think that is to much really.
I'm sure I have a spare 98 Volvo.
PM me with what you are offering to pay for one!
Man i would love a Matt Neal Honda Integra, just a shame they never produced one and i dont have the skills needed to convert one
I have made the 1/43 Matt Neal Honda Integra's for 2005 and 2006 if you have a look at page 13 of this forum there is a picture of the 2005 car. I can make more of these cars to order PM me if you are interestedQuote:

One Onyx car that persistantly eludes me is the 1998 Peter Kox Accord, for love nor money i can never find one, been outdone a couple of times on eBay too, it seems to be a bloody rare Onyx model.
I had the Cleland kit for 5 years before I finally made it!Quote:

I've notice that the BTCC ONYX models prices are creeping up now, gone are the days you could pick one up for under £10.
Thats because everyone is selling them for 'buy it now' prices. Some of the buy it now prices are ridiculous now.
I have added the 1994 Jeff Allam Cavalier. Some of you may have seen it listed on eBay recently, i am rsther proud of this one, indeed i didn't even know Racing Replicas had even made and sold this model.
You paid a very good price for it and Chris paid over £100 for it originally.Quote:

They are really easy models to convert as I have done a couple of them.
I was going to go for it but decided not to as I have a model kit of this model that it currently under construction.
HOW can you say that when you have just paid what you paid for that Allam Cavalier?????Quote:

Whoever did the conversion did a very good job of it, top marks to them.

No, they haven't.
Shame, I prefer the 09 livery. Oh well....
I've been looking over my collection and thinking that my house insurance may not cover it.
Has anyone got seperate insurance for their collections? If so who did you go with? Or did they get additional cover on the house insurance?
My collection has increased again, finally got the 1987 Percy Sierra and I have finished the 1991 Palmer BMW M3.
Two I shall be looking out for... Although not strictly a BTCC car.. But a true BRITISH car..

Today as a very late birthday present I got sent a 1:43 model of Steve Soper's 1993 Team Schnitzer BMW 318i. I remember him driving that at Silverstone that year, the first ever touring car race I went to see live. Good memories!
I realise this is a WTCC car but has anybody heard of a model being made of Tarquini's 2009 Seat Leon that won the championship?
SEAT Sport/IXO were rumoured to be doing it.. Nothing yet!
1998 Peter Kox Accord finally added to me collection. Pretty chuffed about this one too, buy it now for 15 quid.
Got a couple of models listed on eBay too right now, decided to sell my motorpro Volvo, dont really need it now i have an HPI Rydell and a Minichamps Lammers. The other is an ADAC cup BMW 318i, Cecotto, bought that one of a market stall in town, mistake!, already own one.
I have a couple of new civic base models on their way to convert.
Anyone know where I can get a pic of a shell with cage to make a the touring car version please
I am after any Vauxhall decals in 1./43rd scale if anyone has any forsale
I sent Oxford diecast an email asking to buy the touring car vectra ones but sadly they are tampo print and not waterslide decal
I am wanting vauxhall logos and vxr wording if poss
