Great drive Lappi, brilliant result !
Congrats to Tänak! Great rally as always!
Never in doubt. Tanak and the Toyota in a different class to Ogier and Neuville here.
Well, I'm gutted (Meeke fan).
Tanak was terrific. Lappi can be happy, and Mikkelsen. Latvala should be relieved. Breen did his job, can hope for more work. Disappointing but not terrible for Neuville and Suuuninen.

A huge support from 'right' people for Tanak this week-end
Good job done from Tanak, and I think thats will help to add more 0000 euros to Tanak contract with Toyota

Ogier : 146 + 10 + 2 : 158

The helicopter altitude can be due to airspace deconflicting issues.
Many times this weekend you could see up to 10 helicopters on the ground often taking off and landing below the allive one.

Is it only me or are those studio sequences in wrc+ sometimes cut mid-sentence, when timeslot is over? Now wrap up too. Dont they know their own timeslots? And how difficult would it be to just stretch them, its not like they have to accommodate other programs like on regular tv? Or is it only issue when looking afterwards like i did just now and in real-time it is shown until they run out things to talk about?
When live, they usually wrap up. I think this might be because sometimes studio starts earlier, so it gets recorded in to the end of the stage. When the time ticks to the planned SS end, the recording ends and a new one starts. You then have to click STUDIO below the video to have it continue. Can be quite annoying.

Interesting symmetry from last year:
1.Tanak, Toyota both years
2. Citroen Lappi, Østberg last year
3. JML Toyota, both
4. Hyundai, Mikkelsen, Paddon last year
5. Ogier, Citroen, Fiesta last year
Drivers' championship after Finland 2018 vs Finland 2019. Have to keep in mind that this year there was also Chile in calendar.

Judge by yourself who have been the winners and losers of the current season.
PS: If we assume that the final 5 rallies will play out exactly as last year, then by the end of the season results will be as following:
Tänak 254 pts
Ogier 245 pts
Neuville 203 pts
"It's not a positive weekend because we lose 18 points on Tanak, we hope of course that the next events will be different, but I'm not worried about the performance, the trend has been pretty clear for a few time What more can I do? Maybe I'm getting older I'm not the type to say that it's not my fault when I do not win The Ogier-Citroën package is not up to date In five races, it's hard to turn the tide, I'm not bitter, I'm glad the weekend is over and we're going home, let's wait for Germany. I'm always optimistic about my chances of a title, "explained Ogier at our microphone.

"We know that the weekend was difficult, but I do not think we took a shot at morale. We started with a bad special, but we quickly found the pace.We had to make a lot of adjustments during the test, we feel that our tests were not very good, after that we were very present, unfortunately we lost a little bit of time because of the sweeping, we optimized our position on the road, we We did what we could, in the end, the gap with Ogier did not move. There was just Tanak who made a great rally. It must be said, he had by far the best car this weekend. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Friday Even if we call God, we can not resist, we can be happy with the 12 points this weekend, "Neuville detailed at our microphone after the event.
"We gave everything here, we always give everything we have, but sometimes we can not excel, I keep my spirits up, there are good rallies to come and others where the sweep will be more annoying for the first car on the road. The Toyota is not the most reliable, we count on it too, "added the Belgian.

Did not crash. They have just driven on the stage routes - not on live stages - and filmed that. Crazy people...
Think one of the reasons Hyundai didn't switch 2 manu points for 2 driver points by dropping Mikkelsen after PS is that they clearly have better chance for manu title than driver one.
Jumping all the time, Greensmith and Meeke close calls on shakedown.
