Don't know why, but he has a shovel, rope, 10+ spectators and spent 20min by digging a car that 1/2 was on a road. Is there some stone under a car? Cuz from warm house it looks like 2min job for get out from that snowbank.

At least this one was a proper stage:
Ogier Rally Sardegna 2012, SS5, first overall with S2000 (not R5 though but arguably even slower car): https://www.ewrc-results.com/results...-2012/?s=28635
Than quite many superspecials. Not named here is for example a case of Prokop winning SS16 Hagfords Sprint in Rally Sweden 2010 (also with S2000).

We are pleased to say that @GronholmM and @RautiainenTimo will be back out on the #RallySweden stages tomorrow! #YarisWRC #WRC
Brilliant Rovanperä onboard from SS3. Let's just say that neither Kalle or Jonne were too impressed by the quality of the service provided by Swedish spectators :D
Well, what a dramatic day again. The conditions were tricky and it stirred up the action. Tomorrow it should be even trickier.
Current forecast says Rämmen could have some subzero temps, the two others barely touching zero.

Millener tells Sunine to gamble for win!
Combative M-Sport tells surprise #WRC Sweden leader Suninen to risk everything for victory as Tanak looms behind him. Team boss Millener: "We'd much rather advertise a win than four third places"

I kind of hit a wall of snow, and I got stuck in it," said Sébastien Ogier at the microphone of Olivier Gaspard, RTBF's special correspondent in Sweden. had no one there, no way to go back. "
"If it's dangerous?" No, the conditions are perfect, I feasted!, Resumed, ironic, the six-time World Champion in title. This morning, I had fun at the wheel, and this afternoon, I I'm fooled by making a snowman, everything is fine! No matter what it will be tomorrow, for me, the weekend is over.I will try to get points in the Power Stage? I do not need it, what happened to me today is what could happen to me better for the rest of the championship, for Mexico anyway. I'm not sorry, I'm honest! "
Ingrassia: "Happy to have won the Monte Carlo and to" sacrifice "this rally"
"This afternoon, we quickly understood that we had no chance, now we will try to get the cowboy boots, the Corona and the hat (the awards promised to the winners, Ed) in Mexico, chained the co-pilot by Sébastien Ogier, Julien Ingrassia When we arrive here in Sweden, we start with the best intentions in the world, but we know how it's going to end, it's always the same, I'm happy to have won the Monte Carlo and having to "sacrifice" this rally, but we must say that we "burned" our joker this season.

Wow. Even after the first day, there are probably many members who do not understand any of the results. Even the world's best driver has failed and who looks at the results list without understanding that anything else can happen what they themselves have predicted as a god, in the time that has passed from the previous rally. Looking forward to tomorrow's driving.
Fair enough. I heard they (spectators there) talked about needing a better cooperation if any more cars went of,- and as shown by my last pic, they managed that.
However. Rovenperä was pretty deep in the snow. And the snow was more than knee high so managing to get the car out in approx 2min30 wasnt a bad job at all!
@M-SportLtd
Some discounted us before this rally had even begun, but we knew we had the potential to deliver. We’ve not stopped developing the Fiesta and we’ve not stopped believing in the potential of our young team! Bring on tomorrow! 👊

Fun fact: Car #72 @torn_ken / @sikkkuldar arrived at the stop control of SS5 @RallySweden without the co-driver
Background: the car went off 600m before the FF and after it was pulled back to the road, the road was too narrow for the co-driver to get into the car again.
With so many cars in front it might even be an advantage to be where Meeke/Neuville are rather than further down.
