Neuville closing lead to 6.1 secs. He needs to take as much time away on next stage. Tanak will be pushing hard tomorrow and can easily take Neuville. Sordo needs to hold back Ogier to make the series more exciting ;)

Ogier will be fine guys, don't you worry about that.
I'm not so sure the battle is over. If the difference in pace remains the same in the next stage, we'll have a mighty final tomorrow.
Very good time from Tanak. Next stage will be crucial.
19.5k stage to go plus SSS... Neuville should have a lead tonight but no that much.
Nearly 60k tomorrow. Should still be all to play for...
First hope is that Tanak will take the car in the road. I guess it is very difficult without rear wing. I would be concerned about it first. If Neuville doesn't hit trouble it will be extremely hard for Tanak to win this.
Neuville needs a good double digit lead. Tanak has shown enough pace to take 4-5 secs off of Neuville on stages and we will have 4 of them tomorrow.
well it is sure he will hold Paddon, now the question is how big will be gap for tomorrow with Neuville.
What a rally!

That's Jari's championship hopes gone. Shame
Very tidy pace from Lefebvre today.

Actually, rain was not there yet, it should likely arrive while Ott is driving, for the second part of the stage. shower.
Wow Tanak first split. He's crazy.
Edit: Neuville is pushing though!
Compared to Breen especially and a bit to Mikkelsen he has some road position advantage. The comparison for the leg is 4s ahead of Mikkelsen and 20 ahead of Breen, prbly all 3 about equal if the conditions were the same.

Nevertheless compared with other cars all Citroens look ok today (again road position taken into account), also quite consistent between first and second run. They do seem clearly faster than "2nd level" drivers (Evans, Østberg, Sunninen) and even Sordo. Looks far from the top 5 though.
Tänak on similar pace with Ogier without the rear wing.
I wanted to discuss that... In the second half of the season the rallies he's got a realistic chance of winning are Germany, Finland, GB and Australia, so if he's going to pull off a championship he needs victories in those and nothing short of fourth in the rest. Since it's highly unlikely, it's sad to say he'll have to wait until next year again :(
Then again, he might pull a Neuville and make a monster comeback like I said above. Please, flood me with opinions!

I not understand why does not appear a team order to Evans or Suninnen giving the back spoiler to Tanak.
Looks like Tänak is managing it well.
Neuville into a lead. And I guess Tanak will lose more time at SSS than on this stage
Oh, well, 2.5 secs adv. for Neuville.
2.5 sec with the sss still... we are going to have a fight tomorrow, although i think Neuville will not push maximum...
He , TN, has very bad experience on SSS, fingers crossed for him!
Ott Tänak you beauty!!! what a performance
