I'm not so sure the battle is over. If the difference in pace remains the same in the next stage, we'll have a mighty final tomorrow.

First hope is that Tanak will take the car in the road. I guess it is very difficult without rear wing. I would be concerned about it first. If Neuville doesn't hit trouble it will be extremely hard for Tanak to win this.
Neuville needs a good double digit lead. Tanak has shown enough pace to take 4-5 secs off of Neuville on stages and we will have 4 of them tomorrow.
well it is sure he will hold Paddon, now the question is how big will be gap for tomorrow with Neuville.

Compared to Breen especially and a bit to Mikkelsen he has some road position advantage. The comparison for the leg is 4s ahead of Mikkelsen and 20 ahead of Breen, prbly all 3 about equal if the conditions were the same.Quote:

Nevertheless compared with other cars all Citroens look ok today (again road position taken into account), also quite consistent between first and second run. They do seem clearly faster than "2nd level" drivers (Evans, Østberg, Sunninen) and even Sordo. Looks far from the top 5 though.
Tänak on similar pace with Ogier without the rear wing.
I wanted to discuss that... In the second half of the season the rallies he's got a realistic chance of winning are Germany, Finland, GB and Australia, so if he's going to pull off a championship he needs victories in those and nothing short of fourth in the rest. Since it's highly unlikely, it's sad to say he'll have to wait until next year again :(Quote:
