Get it together, Colin.
Big disappointment when I followed twitter this morning. Happy to see Meekes performance, but tyre choise makes everything quite unpredictable. Last stages VW's were on normal pace I think.
What a bad performance by Hirvonen! Hope he can find his speed and confidence back in Sweden!
In avoiding mistakes in these tricky conditions, overtaking some long-time factory driversQuote:

Who would have guessed that Bouffier would be first after day 1? :D Great by him too! Bit lucky with the tyres I guess!
Yea maby some luck but he has done this day 1 very good! :)
Kubica at 1,16 sec

I am sure the result after day one would be different under dry conditions, but the top three have all done a great job today.
Real rally fans do not hope anything that drivers crash and retire....IIII :confused:Quote:

No big mistakes in terrible conditions and not losing big time. What more would you expect with his experience ??Quote:

I don't like Your attitude as well. Getting disappointed at a veteran member because he does not share your point of view is retarded, sorry.
Mikkelsen not really convincing either, lost 2 min on SS3.
Troll level: maximum. Good try though.Quote:

I agree, very disappointing. But he didn't do Monte the last 2 years I think and last time he did he crashed on the first corner. Waiting for more from him later in the season.Quote:

A title for under the picture: IRC-boy and privateer fastest on WRC-opener!
I would say Meeke has done a couple of Montes in ERC/IRC, however with some mistakes. Hope for better this time though.Quote:

Just checked ewrc.cz and Meeke as driven Monte 5 times. In 2003 & 2004 with Corsa s1600, in 2005 with C2 s1600 where he won, and in 2009 & 2010 with the 207 S2000.
3/5 finishes.
Exactly. Meeke has a big experience deficit to other guys in the field- both in driving a wrc spec car and doing wrc rallies. This is only his 11th start in a WRC car in the WRC. Even Ostberg is around 60 or 70+ starts in WRC . Kubica has amazed me today!!!Quote:

Hilarious: former i20 tester now is leading the rally, while both Hyundais are now parked in the service park, retired...
I think I said at the time, either on here or in Twitter than Hyundai should gave kept Bouffier for Monte. He's done lots of testing in the car - and goes well on the event. But, they made their choice....
Overall, a great start to the 2014 season; I think the 49km stage will shake things up.....can't wait!!

Delecour's Fiesta already been stripped.. Alot of money went there to the drain..
Is there possibly a cooling-week for Delecour? Some invested money back? :stareup:Quote:

I dont think in this particular case of mechanical retire on day 1 sponsors pay full price.Quote:
