In some countries spectators are prepared for everything - maybe if they had ropes like Hungarians or Finns they could pull the car back on the road. But sure it's hard work even for a big crowd :)Quote:

I think it's good to end this story. I'm sorry if I offended anyone and kiitos for all kind words. Let's forget it and enjoy future discussion :)Quote:

Seems that these current rallydrivers are like F1 drivers these days, no idea what to do when conditiontions are something else than expected.
The other day I put you back on my list, but now I´m not sure anymore.Quote:

Mikko lacks speed??? Come on. You´re a PC-expert, nothing more.Quote:

Of course, without those problems, he wouldn't have been first on the road today. ;)Quote:

Yes probably. They will still score manufacturer points.Quote:

Superally is interesting choice now. Sordo was so much faster than the others. And those who superally save some soft tires for tomorrw while normal competitors must drive with hard tires.. hmm with very wet conditions.. it would make many minutes I think?
right pointing about tyres!Quote:

If the rain continues, maybe Solberg can come back having used less soft tyres. However it will require superhuman effort. Sordo currently 2 sec/km faster than anyone else in the field. For Solberg to catch Hirvonen he'll need to average 6 sec/km faster to get past. Maybe not, though Hirvonen could back off
i am very curious to listen Malcolm inerview
I can only see times for 12 cars on SS7 on wrc.com, where's the rest of the field?
I guess section 4 will be cancelled. No other way to make this rally decent to the end.
Drivers have problems to get into the stage, water is everywhere - this i have from crew who starting in Portugal. Road conditions are awful
The access to the SS7/10 is blocked. Only 12 cars passed on the first run.
The Al-Rajhi's Fiesta is stoped on a river that is part of the liasion.
Novikov in 2nd is funny!
Fords out and so is Loeb,
Rain and fog spoiling the rally.
Could we ask for anything more exciting??!!!
Cept the studio WRR, one I don't like listening to and the original crew I can't listen on iPhone! :(
Whats he standing around for! Just drive down the hill to you come to the road again. Gronholm did it!

Not only short showers but continious heavy rain.Quote:

The little stage descriptions on wrc.com are funny. They are made by Araujo's co-driver, obviously in dry conditions:
SS5: It’s quite a long stage but that doesn’t create a big challenge apart from for the tyres.
SS6: Alcarias is very twisty but actually more narrow and again you have to be careful for the cuts and to save your tyres.
SS7: There is one small watersplash but it is completely dry.
Dead right too!Quote:

I agree, unfortunately since Rali de Portugal went to Algarve spectators are confined to spectators zones and if any driver goes out of the road, even if he could continue, he stays there...Quote:
