If you had a microphone shoved in your face, literally seconds after performing your fairly difficult job at the maximum of your power, at a time when you're probably still mentally processing the last 10, 20 or 30 kilometers of driving one of the most sophisticated racing vehicles that have ever existed trying to figure out what you need to do to go even faster, and asked the same banal questions 200 times a year in your second language... Or was it all "stage was ok, car was ok, time was ok"... granted he wasn't rude, but it's as much of a jerk thing to give banal response after banal response for 11 years of a professional career in which you're mostly winning by a long way, as it is to be grumpy when you're fighting hard.
I still love Loeb, and I don't judge him for that. For me, the whole concept of the stage-end interview (at least by the sport's own tame 'journalists') is a complete and utter waste of time.

Sorry to stray momentarily off-topic (it's becoming a theme of this thread), but...
I think those two points would probably make things a bit more interesting. But since the crews seem to spend an age waiting for their arrival time around a kilometre or two before the start of each stage, why not interview them there? They're relatively much more composed, have no excuse to set off up the road after a quick "for me is ok", and are much more likely to give an insightful comment than some bland nothingness of half-thought-out grunt.
For every hilarious Ostberg/Ogier moan about Pirelli, there's a million "stage was ok, car was ok, time was ok" and it's rubbish.

Monte isn’t his strongest event also.
As in 2022 the Hyundai car wasn’t ready for Monte, I just checked the 2021 results with Hyundai, stage times were even worse than today apart from two first stages that he won by some miracle. the next round in Arctic he already won. And later on in the season he was very fast on the gravel and won most stages in 2021 season
What I want to say is that we can’t make all the conclusions based on Monte.
I think nobody didn’t expect from him to come and be close to Toyotas at monte
The last time he had such a good beginning of the season was in 2019, then he had 47 points after Monte and Sweden, now 41 points.
Also, it was his 18th win and with this he entered the TOP10 All time winners, sharing the 10th position with Latvala and Mikkola, next one is Markku Alen with 19 wins.
And as I understand its also kind of a achievement that he has won snow rallies with 3 different manufacturers, the only other two guys who have done it are Latvala and Waldegard

Whoever has control over it, has not been activating/confirming new users for ages. The last new users are from 2nd August 2019 and 5th June 2021. No new fresh blood for nearly 4 years does its job.Quote:

Might be Ott, might be someone else, as this article seems to say that Ott did not buy out Märtin's shares, but rather interestingly it was acquired by company owned by the guy who directed Tänak's movie.
