Obviously it's down to tires he is using, Brynildsen was complaining about the lack of traction and he is on D-Mack's as well.Quote:

I hope if Loeb is second that Hirvonen is allowed to win... it would be a great boost for him in only his second event with the car.
About Ogier vs the Ladycup champion still a lot to see here...but some people were claiming that Ogier will follow him in this rally all the time...lets see...
Its the tyres... nothing he can do about...Quote:

Mikkelsen quicker than Ogier on ss5 too
Who is the ladycup champion?Quote:

still chasing though in his home rally... tommorow it will be harder for him because Ogier has more experience on swedish roads and has better notes..i stick with my prediction, if they do not go off or hit trouble Mikkelsen will be behind at the end...he is the lesser driver coming from lesser competition.Quote:

Today, SS2 is mostly in Norway but starts in Sweden, and SS3-8 are 100% in Norway.Quote:

You don't judge marathon runner after first 100meters do you?Quote:

And what about the tactics at the end of the day, Latvala don't have any chance, Hirvonen and Loeb can let him clean the roads on the second day.
second day they run in reverse order...Quote:

Does the Finnskogen stage got anything to do with Rally Finnkog? Seems strange that there was a rally there last week which WRC drivers entered.....
KETOMAA J. / STENBERG M. (st. č. 16) "Some places was grip better, but some not." / "Místy byla dobrá přilnavost, ale místy ne." from Výsledky Rallye: Výsledky on-line
So, diplomaticly speaking.... tyres won't work at all :mark:
Finnforest is a fairly large forest area in Norway where you can create a rally with n/ km of stages.
It's in the same area, but not the same stage as any of the stages in Rally Finnskog 2012.Quote:

Its a pity they have to do that ****ty little stage by the river again (SS 4/7). Its nothing like the rest of the stages, a very narrow, twisty and slow stage on a constructed tractorpath along the river and the big floodbanks. Good for collecting a lot of spectators in one place, but as a rally stage its useless. Neuville did good though, first time through...
Quite a change from Novikov of last year, even more from the one 2 years back. Fast and... reliable?!Quote:

I guess the angry bear has woken -> Loeb fastest by a clear margin on this one.
