What an effort from Chicherit yesterday ! He lost his power steering at 150km from the end ... he had to drive his buggy at the power of his hands, and manage to finish. He thought he broke his handle, but finally it's "only" sprains ...
I have heard drivers scream like little girls in a short special stage with no power steering, It has to be insane in soft sand for that kind of distance. fantastic effort.Quote:

Hans Stacey in a de Rooy Iveco crashed. The Dutch driver's Iveco has apparently been badly damaged after an accident (the truck rolled over forwards) after 79 km. The crew are ok, but the truck has been unable to carry on
It seems that Sainz is out (Mechanical). Roma lost 30' stuck in sand, and de Villiers 10' (same place). Pascal Thomasse was there too.
Al Attiyah is doing an incredible stage !
