Financial troubles I suppose, and not a lot of entries without the trophies (only Opel announced), and moreover rally is dying in this region, with a lot of small events which disappear some years ago.
If you look at last year, there was only 63 entries, and only 5 entries without a championship / trophy. It was better in 2013, but only because there was more trophies ... And with Antibes back 3 weeks after Limousin, some drivers decide to go only there and not to Limousin. At least when you look the entries, both events suffer from this situation ... but it's Limousin which is in the bad "région".
Edit : I forgot to add that some years ago, Limousin was candidate to WRC. Some say that the region and organizers could focus on it and no more on FTRC which doesn't work really well there. But this is only rumor.
It seems in some days we will have the official confirmation of it, with the reasons. I'll inform you when it will be announced.

Germain Bonnefis quits rallying for now. He has wasn't able to secure any programme, and also because of other professional occupations he decided to quit... :(

That's the problem in rallying. How many professional seats ? Not a lot. If you don't have the level to be in WRC, that's over.
