Though. Ogier complains about everything.
First on the road
People ahead of him driving wrong lines
I am sure if Ogier hadn't been first on the road the last 4 years he'd complain of that as well as it was an actual advantage to be first on the last 4 years here in Sweden.
C'mon guys (specially estonians) this situation was basically well known few days already. Take it easy now and enjoy rallying, nothing you can do about the road conditions. Childish conspiracy theories will make you look silly as it is already. That's rallying and we have a interesting season ahead of us, maybe the most intrigueing for many decades. Enjoy while you can!

Well, my splits have gone out the window!
Who's gonna win it then?
Wouldn't mind seeing Breen or Paddon take it. Good shot in the arm for either of them if they could manage it.
Starting order to Saturday - https://rally-base.com/2018/rally-sw...TimeTypeId=864

Ogier tweeted it :D

Canadian snow plough - steerable axle on rear trailer - do not pass if ever driving in Canada. Had motorists crashing into them.

Yellow and orange glasses seems to become more popular year after year. Is there any proven advantage from those? Besides those, EP seems to have orange helmet visor (attached but not using). What next - yellow contact lenses or orange windshields?
It's some timing glitch here O_o

with new times - you are right, 5 sec faster from Tanak
And even if my first calculation was based on SS7 times - 3sec slower is nothing for that narrow and technical section
Ogier and his fans seam so alike, bunch of sad sad loosers.
It's more enjoyable than Neuville wining the rally
Guys, do I have to remind you what Mikkelsen did after his retirement in Spain and Monte Carlo?
Smile, that's all you need.
It appears that if the results from today can last for Sunday, the results after two rounds can give one more accurate result in wrc.
Dani Sordo looks like he is freezing on red bull tv, and matt wislon has been too close to the sun!
I realize what problem Ogier is struggling with. It's not the same as starting as No. 1 in Germany!
Hennings "testday" ended with that he closed in on the stage winners.
If the overnight adjustments goes in the right direction he could habe gotten even closer.
But since he now is opening the road tomorrow, the target has to be to loose less tha Ogier did today.
Ogier stage performances:
SS1: 9th (+2.5)
SS2: 10th (+12.5)
SS3: 12th (+18.2)
SS4: 11th (+22.0)
SS5: 12th (+28.0)
SS6: 11th (+35.5)
SS7: 22nd (+50.9)
SS8: 20th (+23.4)
And people wonder he complains ...
I don't wonder why he complains. I do wonder why he blames "Scandinavian conspiracy" for snow on roads...
Neuville lost 1:53 (4 secs/km) while running second on the road on SS9 in Monte due to fresh overnight snow on the road, which wasn't plowed.
Note that Neuville was 10s behind Meeke in the end. Does that make it French Ogier + Citroen conspiracy?
Just watched the 'official' highlights on BT and no stage end interviews shown with Ogier or Tanak Seems all about the great battle between the Hyundais.
At least Motorsport TV showed Tanak's honest 'screw themselves' outburst.
And they show "Nothing, all good" situation (this was an answer for a Colin stage-end "More troubles here in a final stage, tell us what happen?" quation) for Ogier, when he nearly hit a pole when went off into snowbank.
So it become a normal situation for that slow and old guy :)
PS Nice new soundtrack at the end: Awolnation - Passion
ziggysony video

with Evans puncture at 2:22.
Most of cars through safely here
Kristoffersson was out of sight but he win SS7 and only 0.7sec of stage win at SS8 in WRC 2. Not bad as for rally newbie
ready for action...let's see what will happen today
I was wondering if someone else would perform better opening the roads. Ogier kept his nerves. There is something wrong with the regulations. If the first car on Friday is losing so much time then his rally is ruined because his starting position on Saturday is also terrible.

Henning on live tv after flying finish:
(free translation)
"That's all I can do. The car(s) are too difficult to drive with the stupid centre difs."
