Awesome result from Latvala and Hirvonen! Tarmac rally and double podium to FINLAND! When was the last time when we got this glory in tarmac rally?!
Great...
Great job but LOEB too!
Let me get this right.... Ogier doesn't get which points? Drivers? But he won in his class? But he doesn't technically win?
Congratulation to the finnish guys! Very good results on tarmac race.
The question regarding the championship is if Loeb will be able to reach 300p?
He's got 199 now with 4 rallies remaining.
Loeb 8,3 faster than Jari and 13,7 from Petter at 4,37km........Ogier and Mikkelsen faster than Jari......
Petter what had to loose and didn t push?
NOT maybe is harsh sometimes about scared kids,but....

Loeb is unreal... say what you will about teams, manufacturers, rally formats, no. 2 drivers etc... he wins this by 2 minutes and a 4km power stage by 2.2, you CAN'T win like this, and you can't win 74 times, without being the absolute best. No conspiracies, just a freak of nature.
I'm glad to see such a perfect driver in my lifetime!
something strange is happening there (in Trier :D )Quote:

Salute for unbeatabloeb!!!
Makes a bit of sense, but still... mikkelsen's time is pretty crazy, even with the drying stage.

Ford were really far from Citroen, and Hirvonen was invisible.
The very fast Chris Atkinson replaced Armindo Araujo, Atkinson at the end of the rally was 15s faster than Armindo in 2011, comparing the differences to the winner. It's confirmed: a car at Motorsport Italia hands is really a crap.
not so crazy,is inside the sec/km a s2000 looses from a wrc car.Quote:

SOLBERG P. / PATTERSON C. (st. č. 4) "I just have setup for last superspecial basically. Difficult to drive stage now, but it's OK."
Loeb ruined the sport.
The opposite. It was raining back then and guys with softs were making incredible times.Quote:

You cannot judge Atko from his first time in a Mini WRC. We have to wait.Quote:

Loeb is an easy guy to hate, I used to think he was ruining the WRC by making it "boring & predictable" but he is the best driver of all time, and I think we all should feel fortunate we have been able to witness this unfold in real time over the years.
Winning an event by 2 minutes is unreal, winning an event 9 times is unreal, winning almost 75 WRC rallies is unreal.
Solberg and the rest have lots to learn from Loeb, I have always felt half of the secret to Loeb's success is his mannerism and his ability to be cool, calm and collected at ALL times. Sure he is highly motivated, but he keep's it under control.
Somebody like Solberg is like a firecracker, always high strung and on the edge and he has the results to prove it.

hopefully, Loeb will stop at the end of the year(or doing some choose events )... that would be the perfect timing in my opinion. New manufacturer, incoming fast youngers , four top pilots very close in performance(tarmac included) ; next year could be a really interesting championship.
(of course, congrats to loeb for his acheivements but 10 years... is long)
