13 minutes till it goes live... I keep my fingers crossed for Petter and especially that his Ford keeps it together (literally!).

Well here I actually do think that Loeb can control the first place.......but otherwise I fully agree with you. After last season everyone was saying how Petter doesn't have speed.. Who has most stage wins this year (excluding greece)... yes Petter. Sure quite a lot of them are where the leaders weren't pushing, but quite a lot of them are when they were as well. He does certainly have speed to be a factory driver.Quote:

So...... next SS will be crucial to Petter. If he is able to cut couple of more seconds to Seb, tomorrow will be an interesting day, otherwise Seb will regulate till end. Then, yes or yes Petter should try to go flat out....
It's Greece---and there are a few rocks, things happen---what's not "sensible" about a puncture in these conditions?Quote:

Is Greece similar visually to CYPRUS? I love the Cyprus stages from the past... bring THAT rally back!
Solberg 3.5 faster at split 2....
stage is drying, advantage Loeb
Loeb slower... how advantage?
Really dissapointed to hear about JML's puncture, but Petter, he is on fire! We Petter to win this rally!
+10.2 going into tomorrow ... its possible... go Petter, make it happen !!
It is only 60km to go tomorrow, if anyone could controll 10s it would be Loeb. But I hope petter gives it a try :)
Loeb with his 70 odd wins doesn't really need another one....Petter needs a win!Quote:

* edited Latvala had a puncture but was so used to him crashing I said he went off :p
+1
Well I'M brave because we have Latvala. He is driving like a hell and fight. Same SISU what we used 39-45. We don't forget or forgive never.Quote:

I don't tell You that You shall not be proud but I would prefer if JML could fight for championship not to win several stages and crash. After all those years everyone knows he is bloody fast but the time has come and he shall make the last step for the championship - at best in time when Loeb is still active. The first champion after Loebs retirement will always be seen as the second best who was lucky that Loeb ended career...Quote:

I will give more detailed overview after I get the latest data (in couple of hours). Currently it looks like dry morning and wet afternoon (showers again, not as bad as today). I was away from computers today. How was the weather today? Then I can verify my prognosis :-)Quote:

Ziria is a fantastic stage with very fast gravel, and the point we watched was a 5th gear ''S'' +200meters straight downhill at 20% ,and brakes for a slowly uphill easy left with 4th gear. All this at a road with 15-20 meters width and no stones. :D
Mikkos pass was a bit risky but spectacular and vary late on brakes. Also very late was Jari and Petter.Loeb wasnt so late, but had a better exit from previous ''S'' with 5th gear. Its amazing how can exit such a fast corners with totally straight steering and getting at gas so early.Perfect passages from Jari and Petter too,but with more sliding almost using all 20 meters width of road at ''S'' exit.Petter at Klenia 1, at brakes for a 90 degree right slow uphill corner, was 1 meter out of road.Tottaly from 9 stages i watched at 7 of them Petter was taking big risks, some of them not for his level.
Very good was Novikov too.I ve seen 9 stages so far and was fast and with right lines, with no risk at all points i watched.Pitty for him now he finds rythm and speed, to ruined from a such mechanical gremlins.Nasser again very spectacular but time stages are not good.
Ostberg not ''like'' from me today.Same for Prokop for all days.Araujo same.Nobre spin in front of me with 1st gear and tried to climb a concrete fench about 1 meter high when he started again...after few minutes we saw that he retired from a broken wheel.
Neuville was better today with clearer lines.
Pwrc cars were really disgrace. There is no comparison in the old good days of Hanninen Aigner,Flodin,Nasser etc.
Mikkelsen Ogier were in a big fight, pitty they had so many problems with their Fabias. At all the stages were totally flat out.
About the Seb-Petter fight seems that Seb is controlling.lets hope to have a good fight till the power stage even if i doubt it if Petter will try to push more.
About Jari what can i say.Again a wide line....i ve lost counting for such these moments for him. When you see him or Petter you know it s a matter of time to happen.
Weather today was so unpredictable. Was raining, then stop for a while ,after again some small showers, after some heavy clouds etc.Really difficult to have good choices as in some places was raining and at some not,at the same stage.
Tomorrow i ve plan to see Agioi Theodoroi 1 &2 +power stage with my son.
At stages i saw you were almost right. But as i said was too difficult,it was changing very fast.Quote:

all spectators are not rally freaks in a wrc rally. If there is a possibility to have other ''problems''(injury-death) from some spectators that they see a rally car at first time,i prefer the crew to retire.Quote:

If you was there with other 10 guys, are you sure that you can lift 130 kg at a 45 degrees downhill stepping at loose gravel where when just walking on it your feet goes 15cm inside the loose gravel?if you could lift 130 kg,you could find immediately other 9 persons that they could lift 130 kg while stepping at loose gravel? get real mate.
He wasnt so good as yesterday.bit slower and not so clear lines. More than 1 sec/km from top crews.Quote:

What about Yazeed at all? And Tanak today - slower/normal, clean/mistakes?
Tanak was ''ok'',nothing special.Today no mistakes from him, except at a very wide hairpin he entered with wrong gear, and when downshifted to 1st gear almost the car stopped.Yazzed when in places with spectators, always flashing his lights. He is spectacular and at some points enough brave.Ok time is not good, but definetely not a sick dog.Quote:

SS20 Cloudy, should be mostly dry, slight rain possibility, specially for the later starters. +19..+21 degrees
SS21 Cloudy, Very difficult to call, looking from today I must say that it is most probably dry again. Howevere, as the time goes by, the possibility of the rain showers increses. temperature +19..+21 degrees (Celsius). Tomorrow morning I can say more clearly.
SS22 Powerstage. It is raining, most probably. rainshowers etc. are the possibility. However, not so heavy as they were today.
So, I guess that brave guys choose hard tyres for the whole day. However, it is more clear by tomorrow morning.
Where is he going???Quote:
