You have to wonder if 24 teams and this 3rd placed thing, is going to encourage many more teams to defend like this. Not a step forward for the tournament.

Well, championship favourites have failed in the past too, so I guess that's sports as they say. :)

Making Euros into a 24 team event is stupid...to allow 16 teams go forward is even worse.

Good game earlier before they fixed the last 5 minutes between those annoying Hungarians ;) and Portugal.

Italy and all their changes look ordinary so far.

England v Iceland in the second round for us. hmm..... we will struggle to break down their packed defence.

Now think of this: Hungary came to Euro 2016 after being 3rd in its qualification group. And just look how many goals they scored.

My criticism was not of the teams themselves, but just that it rewards some teams at times to defend with buses.
