At least on ss4 he was really the most spectacular driver. I should dig out regulations for national championship about tires tho.
Who cares about compounds etc, he is only 16 for godsake
for sure his pace is incredible,whatever tyre he is using.
That's the thing with rallying... whatever time a driver does, someone always has a reason to praise/explain/criticise/dismiss it ...
He is possibly the greatest talent around, no doubts about that, but it's still often missleading to ignore details. Who has been on this forum for some years must know that I am always very careful and somewhat critical about rising supertalents. We've had number of those who never ever managed to get anywhere despite being very promissing at some stage. There were exceptions and I do admit that I wasn't cheering them that much at their beginnings, i.e. Paddon, but on the other hand people used to be overexcited about many who nobody remembers anymore.
