Yesterday finished Azzano rally, a gravel event. Andreas Mikkelssen won six out of eight stages, he won with a huge advantage over Luca Rossetti. It is obviously that Grande Punto has no chance on the gravel against Skoda Fabia, it must be very frustrating for Rossetti to lost a fight on the home soil.
At the moment Rally degli Abeti (valid for I.R.C) is held, Manuel Sossella (last year's champion of this series) is in comfortable lead in front of D.Oldrati (both with C4 WRC), the third position has Eddie Sciessere with Clio S1600.
Maybe Punto isn't the reason ? :) I think it way too optimistic to expect Rox to compete against Mikkelsen on gravel even in a Fabia so there's no reason to be frustrated . Just look how slow he was in Poland . The only Italian who can maybe do that is Ucci ;) Note a greta 3rd place for Andrea de Luna ;)Quote:

For me , it's much more realistic to see his perfomances a few weeks ago than a few years ago to see his form on gravel .
I really don't believe that he forgot to drive. On the contrary show me any single driver competitive on 2011 gravel stages with Punto ;)Quote:
