Enough with the riddles! Where is it available from?
FM! Next you will want me to pay for it for you!
If you can't be bothered to find it yourself, I'm not going to tell you.
To anyone who is bored of ambiguous posts, it's going to be a 1:43 IXO model of Jason Plato's SEAT from 2008. If you already knew that then I'm sorry for sticking my head in.
Thanks, but I knew what the model was, only a google search turns up nothing nor do any of the numerous die-cast websites I've tried.Quote:

The first Chinese pre production model of Plato's 08 Leon has hit Ebay!
The reason I have not given the full details on the model is because I don't know the full details!Quote:

Anyone know the proper price for them?
The problem was your post " If you can't be bothered to find it yourself, I'm not going to tell you." when I still haven't seen the information anywhere else apart from in this thread and that one ebay auction! It's not exactly wide-spread info.
If it's a standard 1:43 IXO SEAT like the WTCC ones that been officially announced then I'd expect them to be £39.99 each.

The Plato model I posted the link to is one of those pre-production models that comes "out of the back door" and the Chinese pass off as the full monty. If you look at my post earlier in this thread you will see I mentioned the Altaya Seat Collection part work in Spain. This model is the next scheduled release in that series and will be available for about £19.99 (certainly from me anyway!).
Here is a model that I have been working on for some time the 1/43 2001 BTCC Championship winning Vauxhall Astra Coupe driven by Jason Plato
Here's another picture of the model
I know this is an old-ish post, but can you still get these discounts on the RAC BM's?Quote:

I have just received the above model and have a question on it.
Have Trofeu got it wrong or am I going mad!
The registration plate says "XOO 341F", now I thought that plate was normally raced by Chris Craft (in 1968 and 1969) and John Fitzpatrick drove on the plate "XOO 342F". The books I have seem to agree with this thought, did they swap cars at anytime or have I just completely got it wrong?
Also the only reference I can find to the 112 car was at Mallory Park and he didn't finish in this race, isn't this a strange car to pick for making?
Had an expensive 5 minutes last night
Bought the 1991 BMW E30 of Will Hoy and went crazy and bought the 1996 Audi 7 Car set from 1996.
Not many left to get now.
Can't wait for these to arrive now!
can you say how much you payed for the Audi's?Quote:

Finished another couple of kits and bought a couple of missing models from my collection.
Bought the 1997 Warwick (2nd livery) and Reid, the Spice Capri, Fitzpatrick Escort. I also managed to pick up a Vectra Test car is a batch of Vectra's not long ago.
Finished a 1994 Needell Primera and 1994 Neal Mazda and converted a Minichamps BMW to the Brabham Goldeneye car.
Hoping to pick up the 2008 Plato car but I need to sell a BBR kit first to afford it!!
I have got a few project on the go but need decals producing or reproducing (I hate Formule kit decals they are so thin and break even with solution on them).
If you want to know which kit it's the 1995 Goldeye BMW (now no longer required) and yes it's on ebay ;)
The 2008 Plato Leon has been relisted, £19.99 'Buy it now', here's the link:

nice - I'll have me one of those :)
Have got my 7 car Audi set today :) It is very impressive and very well put together. I will post some pictures if anyone is interested.
I have also got 2 x 1988 Listerine Sierra RS500's I got the other week, which I'll put some pics up soon.
my Jason Plato Seat arrived today - looks really very good. Think I might get it signed.
I was impressed with the quality of the Plato Leon, shame mine had a decal missing and had to be sent back and now have to wait for a new one.
Hope they do a Turner version too.
now you have worried me - which one was missing?Quote:

PDS, how easy was that to do? Thinking about doing it myself
Well spotted!
The Turner car is not an official available model. It is a conversion I have.
It is quite easy to do, if you have applied decals to models before. I have some decal sheets available if anyone wants to try.
Just send a PM.
Would like to make the Chevy Lacetti as BTCC models
It's worth looking at...
Might look into it a bit more but would need good close up pics all round and of each sticker on the car so they could be scanned
Thanks PDS for the decals, I have now made the Turner model and I must say how easy it was to make and how perfect your decals fitted. :DQuote:

Looks like some manufacturers (Kyosho and HPI) are slowly producing more of the JTCC ST cars. Though it's a no brainer considering they're just really producing new decals as they can reuse the old car moulds. But still, it's cool to see you can buy a '94 Alfa Romeo that raced in Japan.
http://cgi.ebay.com/1-43-HPI-Alfa-Ro...d=p3286.c0.m14
and the '94 Nissan Primeras
http://cgi.ebay.com/1-43-KYOSHO-NISS...d=p3286.c0.m14

Now if only they could produce the Nissan Sunny/Mazda Familia/Toyota Corolla and Honda Accords that raced in Japan??
If only they could produce some of the mid 90's btcc cars, like the Primera and some of the other rare cars.

New from Ixo in thier Premium X resin range is their Gordon Spice 78 24h of Spa winner. Limited edition of 750 I think and is now part of my small but choice Touring car collection. With a bit of persuasion Ixo may do some of the classic British Saloon car championship Capris!
