What a drive by Neuville, great to see the rally go right to the wire.
At least if Ogier does get a penalty for the timecard it won't be the penalty that decides the winner.
Ill be there
Stunning drive by Neuville. Definitely the best of his rallys. This rally could be a turning point for the championship. Hope to see some more of these fights!
Sorry if it was already posted but Tänak was late in TC after the last stage and got 40 seconds penalty for that. As a result he lost the 8th position overall to Kopecký.
Also Loubet retired after the last stage...
I understood it was because traffic? I’m not sure it will hold?
Epic fight and amazing win for Neuville; huge congrats to him, Gilsoul and Hyundai. Second part of the season is looking promising. WRC rocks!
Btw, where's the RX fellow that said the WRC was less exciting than watching paint dry?
Anyone who knows why Loubet retired after last stage?
What a rally! Friday from dust till mud, everything was there on the 4 stages we did. Yesterday we choose quality over quantity and went to 2 stages without rushing. Today on and around the beach was great too!

Joost couldn't make it, so unfortunately no video this time.
Latvala made the same power stage mistake as last year?
What a thriller to the end. What a drive by Neuville, beating Ogier by straight driving without big mistakes or setbacks from Ogier, a big mental step for Neuville. Watching the Neuville onboard from Cala Flumini was probably the greatest All Live moment so far, such crazy driving and fighting for fractions of seconds at the front. I think it was remarkable how far Ogier and Neuville were from the rest. And in a sense, the same was noticable yesterday between Lappi-Latvala and Paddon-Østberg.
Also nice that Lappi got now two clean drives after a troubled start of the season, a podium well deserved. Good to see Latvala back on pace as well, it's still unclear whether the retirement was his own fault or not. Kind of same with Tänak.
Breen has had a really difficult season apart from Sweden where the front runners suffered from the loose snow, but it seems he also has a lot of technical difficulties which always put him in a bad road position, ruining the rest of the rally. Paddon was also quite tame compared to his best days, maybe he took it easy because of the Portugal injury?
Why does it take the wrc.com team to update the site on points?

wow... what a rally. Neuville deserves a big congrats.
Is it the first time Ogier has been bitten fair and square and cannot blame anyone or anything?! other than his driving??
the summer will be a long wait...

No new details about Tanak penalty?
Curious question... Does the time card actually have any meaning these days in world rallying where everything is digital or is it just tradition and paperwork?
Stewards decided to give to Ogier fine 10 000 euro and suspended removing the points in drivers and teams championship.
From my point of view, it is stupid decision.

I think Julien Ingrassia will have to pay the drinks tonight. :D
yep, but they can't check in before Tanak was checked. So if no TC19A late penalty for Ogier - it was before in queue to check-in.
That's why I post about 1.12km and so little time (6min) between next TC. If Tanak arrive straight on time without any holding before - it's solid 3min late for Ogier
