The spare engine Tanak's using also has an issue, so he's retired again in order to protect it.
Explaining that decision back in Concepción, Tänak said: “By regulation you’re allowed two engines per year. Does he have an working engine till the end of this season? Is it forbidden to carry out major repairs to the engine during the season? If this engine was still not working properly from Sweden, then there probably are some kind of restrictions. Also we don't know if the broken engine from yesterday is repairable.Quote:
