Ott was 4 mins late checking into SS10, so 40s time penalties. Without the two mistakes today he would be second!!

Today it was a difficult day in Australian forests. In the morning there was very low grip and therefore we struggled with the setup of the car. We tried different things but we couldn’t solve the problem before service. However until the 4th stage we were in competition for podium until we had a problem with the car, I let it distract myself and made a mistake that cost us many positions.
Second half of the day was already better, although the stages were tricky for tyres, we managed to save them with smooth rhythm.
Tomorrow brings us the monster – 51KM stage!
Yes have been given time back after doing an incident report. Got held up by the police for over 20 minutes even with my driver being a policeman. Got the time back and probably could have scammed some more.Quote:

That was not the first time today Ott Tanak has been stopped by police he was also stopped shortly after SS9 today
i dont know at the moment but seeing that Tänak says there is a lot of time to get back tomorrow i assume he wont get these 40 secs back.
