Marty McCormack @martymccormack We have went off on SS2 both ok :-(
Asked from WRC live TV about the time penalty Ogier answered: ask my co driver he's the master of time ( ironically ). Not a good behavior in my opinion - of course it's Julien's mistake but it sounds he is blaming him and it's not needed after already losing 4 min.
Did Evans make it to the service?
Put yourself in his shoes, looking to close out the Championship he has the car and the Co-driver go wrong on him - he can't shout at the car! (unless he's Basil Fawltey ... one for Brits there!)
In his early WRC days I recall he treated Julien to a 10 min tirade following an error, they are still together.
I'm not saying that it isn't Julien's fault but looks unprofessional to speak like that in front of tv cameras. They can discuss that between themselves.
:) - I believe they might have an 'extensive' discussion in private - Sport is boring if everyone that is asked a question by a journo reverts to PR corporate-speak. I think not hiding his emotions at all times possibly gets it out of his system before he starts concentration mode again. As I say Seb has improved he wasn't shouting at Julien in public this time!
