For years, many rally fans try to say that modern cars are built stronger!
The smaller cars are in my opinion not as strong as before and too fast.
But then no one would believe that here.

a) It was rim what was broken, no damage on the car

I could not agree because your statement is so broad that all ability has disappeared for me to have any idea what PARTS of the car you mean were stronger/are weaker..ball joints? hubs? motor block? Head gasket?....what?

And since most of my life I work on OLD cars, but now have some "new" car stuff to see .....I don't know what you mean..Please clarify.
