Rally Finland 2011

I started to think... How much Finnish driver's car can be slower (s/km) than rival's car and still win the rally because of Finnish driver's better understanding and conception of Finnish roads? 0,6 s/km?

the last part of the interview is very interesting....seems that Mr Loeb found his motivation once more now that another french is threatening him....but he will not push for victory, its time for another title this year and not to show the finns how it should be done in their schoolyard.

i am waiting for maximum attack from works crews.For different reasons each one.

maybe for 1-2 stages to see if they are capable of winning but after they see there is nothing they can do is cruising time.

I wouldnt bet my money at this if you mean Sebs speed at Finland.

I have to dissagree with NOT, Loeb has always gone for the win here as long he has had any chances, exception is last year but I belive that had more to do with the tragedy in his family that happend during first day of the rally.
Its also good to remember that the win of 1000 Lakes is the most respected among drivers, ok he has a win here but if this is his last year in the sport im sure he will go for a second win.

Loeb has no need to ridicule the finnish...he did it a few years back with tougher competition. This year ogier proved that he has the speed to deal with loeb in a straight fight so i think Loeb will go for the safe points instead of risking everything. Ogier on the other hand cannot afford to back down but he does not have the experience or the speed to win in finland in a 3 day war.

Sure they are going to try and be fast but i doubt they will take any risks so i predict a 1 and a half day semi-fight maximum....once the difference reeaches 15-20 seconds all is lost and they just have to see if ketomaa is close or not....
