I think he's gone off the boil. Need to see that he's still an a-lister and can fight for wins.

It is Finland so it is hard to predict, but it is already Monday and this forecast is possible.
Yeah seeing some rain every day, should be not that bad at the front
Dirtfish recce interviews https://youtu.be/7pIimXAzIVw?si=yDn6xxhkH3uBRSMn
Colin and drivers all in good mood. Especially Colin
Any news about wheather?
I'm doing exactly the same :D Just a week ago it was quite dry forecast for the weekend but now it shows that it will rain for the whole weekend.
I don't remember from previous years but how is it in Finland with wet surface vs starting from the front compared to back? Cleaning effect is smaller but how about road becoming more slippery?
im looking at the areas where are the stages that we are attending and i see some small showers here and there but nothing serious.

That won't clean and maybe got worse. On Friday there are storms in the forecast for afternoon.
Good morning, lets have a good shakedown, i expect Kalle will be the fastest.
what happened to Seb & Elfyn in the 1st run?
Looks like they didn`t slow down enough in virtual chicane and got additional time.
That VC is a joke..
Haybails aren't best either, but at least they re not a gamble.. did I brake enough or no..
What is the penalty on proper stage, if driver don't do the VC correctly?
I have a feeling that Tänak isn’t showing his full cards at the shakedown like he did in 2022 when you compare his times with Lappi
Well, I assume the penalty should be the same as here. But yeah, I wonder how do drivers detect of they brake enough or not. Because if you lock up the wheels, the speed is 0. I think it is quite messy when you have to do it so quickly.
Sami Pajari looked very comfortable. A little wide at one corner, but very impressive allround.
It does look like the future is bright for him. First hurdle passed.
Latvala was equal fastest Rally2 on Run #1 !

Is there a cleaning? I think so. Being later on the road means that you don't have that slippy and muddy surface, you have more like rails and dirt
Taka was a nice surprise
If virtual chicanes allow for the use of stages like Ouninpohja, I'm all for them. They don't affect the experience for spectators, don't change difficulty for drivers, and don't compromise safety.
It also reduces the chance of clipping bales e.t.c. and causing unnecessary damage.
Chicanes usually add nothing, and VC are even worse. Let drivers drive the stages like they are. If the rules make a certain stage impossible, we just have to change the rules.
what a moron.
Hyundai fined 5000 euros for speeding. Mechanic was trying Tanak's cars wipers, 172kmh in 100kmh zone..
Because they had problems in Latvia.. let them do another run of SD or what ever.. They have base in Finland for what..?
But give a car to mechanic, who goes almost full speed on public road.. with Tanak's ,,luck'' I'm surprised the car wasn't crashed or smth..

Saturday stages dried a lot. It is so so loose now.. Good luck Neuville.

or Stewards decision no 3
That's not an argument. Drivers should be less whiney. In rallying it's never the same for all drivers, it's the core of this sport. And drivers who intentionally push it out of the way to get an advantage can f**** right off in my opinion. It only takes one driver to act silly to f**** up the situation for everybody and force the rule makers to come up with silly rules/solutions (see overtaking in F1 for example).
Gregor Jeets with a back injury over the stupid jump at the end of shakedown. Hopefully not too serious and he recovers soon
Just embarassing for Munster again. Pajari has absolutely no experience on tarmac and he is still way faster than Munster...
Lappi almost binned it. That Hyundai is undriveable on tarmac :D
