Extra tyres yes, but at the moment just driving SD thru seems quite pointless.. won't get the correct feeling and feedback but okay, let's wait for tomorrow.. hopefully Toyotas are not minutes ahead then :D

Hyundais tactics are a mystery for me.
They really couldn’t afford to have one run at least on the soft tires?
And with a largely dry rally coming up, doesn't seem like it's worth saving soft tyres? Or what do I know...but when Tänak said to Dirtfish that their car is not capable of competing against Toyota, to me it sounded like "we are so much faster than Toyota, but we say the otherwise to mess with them".
Pickems closing time is 08.30 CEST Friday morning. (3 mins before start SS1)
Well, with most of the stages under 15km and with not as warm weather as usual, those extra soft tyres could make a huge difference in the sunday. Also extra hard tyres could come handy in those 20+km stages on saturday. Probably won't see much difference on friday, but it could change alot on saturday and sunday
If I could, I would place a high risk bet, that Ogier starts full season next year in team --------------------- Hyundai !
Hello all!
Here we are , Salou Spain. Going to spend 9days holiday with my family and of course rally spectating also. This is now third time here, last visits 2017 and 2019.
One question, how will Iberian cup cars driven? Any itinerary for those?
Haven't seen so many FIA rallycars in same service area for a long time. IT was pretty nice.
CU in end of ss3 tomorrow!

Iberian Cup cars are going in ERC field. They will start in a group behind whole WRC field. Here is itinerary: https://rally-base.com/2022/erc-rall...22/time-table/
Heading to ss3, then trying to catch rally1 and first wrc2 cars at ss5 and again watching the full field at SS7. Let's see if it's possible to make it.It was raining a little bit through the night so the stages might be a bit damp.

... and here we go, enjoy guys!
Ott just a little slower at first split
Loosing 1,5 in the end
He is not feeling ok with the car
Thierry on the other hand says the car is feeling quite ok:D
I have no problem.
This has nothing to do what time he did on this stage but his body language and Ott is very easily readable in that regard.
Like I said you could tell right after the finish when he even didn’t know Kalles time he wasn’t satisfied whatever the problem is, him, car, etc
Poor stage time for Gus
Unfortunately Breen and all the other Fords are slow. Gus very slow, but Adrien even slower!
Could be yet another long rally for Msport.....
Nice time Lindholm
What happened with Pepe Lopez?
Ott a lot slower now on second stage compared to Kalle
A bit damp-slippy-wet-complicated conditions and Rovanperä goes his own way. Or at least Tänak can not match the pace.
So no interviews and they didn’t show what combination of tires they have ….
Seems the Puma is pretty twitchy, and overall they all seem to have a lack of grip.
Yeah, Breen losing a lot too.
Going for weird combination of tyres with Breen and Serderidis isn't really promising from the beginning..
Sordo not really doing so well either
consider a bit the road condition for the late runners, bit of a dirt in many cuts...
