Our safety note crew dream team! Knowing what the latest stage conditions are will be crucial this weekend with all the cuts and changing weather - and Bryan and Denis are legends so it’s great to have them on our side

good morning is there shakedown today?
Hopefully Neuville's new weird shifter knob isn't the only update from last rallies :D
Tänak fastest on 1st run. Last year the best he got on shakedown was 4th.
Plans to use the shakedown to get to know the slick tyres. He had the test only with wet ones
Very interesting results. Tänäk and Lappi fastest, Loubet faster than Greensmith, Evans and Fourmaux very slow.
Pickems closing is tomorrow morning minutes before start of 1st stage. Closing time 08.30 CEST.
Gryazin off on first pass https://twitter.com/alekslesk/status...Zy3In_q2alQkmw
It's forecast to be wet tomorrow so the dry shakedown times probably wont mean much.
Baffling times from Evans
Kristian Sohlberg hinted on twitter that some drivers were on hard tyres, some on soft. Seeing that most of the stages are short and it's quite cold, soft tyres are the best option. There's only a limited amount of them for this rally (not sure but I think shakedown is included again in the whole rally tyre quota). Possibly also some testing was split between drivers (Kalle on softs, Elfyn on hards)? Anyway tomorrow in rain it will be softs all over.
Gonna be really interesting with the rain tomorrow.
Ott said him and the other back starters will be in different league compared to front starters

Wow crazy time for Kimanthi.
I haven't realized how (relatively) stretched the standings already are after 2 rounds.
Rovanpera and Neuville are supposed to have an advantage with road position, they have a chance to pull away from the others. But if Neuville DNFs or scores badly while Rovanpera is on the podium, Kalle will be miles ahead everyone else with Finland and Estonia yet to come.

Really could be chaos on these stages tomorrow with the rain expected....
Evans should be the man to beat in these conditions, but he's starting very far back and maybe his confidence has taken a big hit after two stupid mistakes cost two podiums (at least). Also seemed strangely slow in shakedown.
Kalle is driving superbly well, looks so at ease and full of confidence. He has to show he has learnt from last year though and keep consistently scoring pts.
Hyundai..., well Tanak and Neuville can both deliver but still a question mark over the car. If the car is on the pace, Neuville is maybe the favourite.
Bit worried how Breen copes, Sweden was a disaster after a subdued Monte (pace wise), and pressure is on him to lead Msport. I want to see better pace as we know the car is quality, but he also has to keep it on the road.

So what are the conditions like, anyone knows?
