Yes, 3 and 4 would be too close otherwise, the stages should not overlap for P1 drivers

Made an entrylist based on what I found on the internet. 100 cars entered but only 75 can start, so they will have to select...

Seems that there is no additional registration to WRC2 Junior so, Gryazin, Bulacia, Ingram, Munster etc will be also classified.
Heard they were 110 total entries and 75 selected
Is Suninen going to start? He is not on the WRC2 list, but he has been testing. So will he run outside WRC2?

I ended up writing a short article on the route :)
Is spectators allowed?

First fast, then technical, then again fast at the end on the wider road which was the beginning of SS1 in 2020.

I managed to watch through the onboards of all stages so I updated stage descriptions and linked onboards when available on YouTube. This year's route will be very slow and technical, as if there weren't enough challenges with the new cars!
Small note - Greensmith was left outside manufacturer points. It's interesting considering he's done Monte twice on WRC car and won WRC2 in 2019. During the same years Fourmaux has been 7th, 4th and 2nd in RC2. But then again Fourmaux hasn't crashed.
Anyone heard anything more about spectators? Assuming no news is good news for people who can travel there. Only thing on the website says to mask up.
Had my flights cancelled/rescheduled by the airline today. I think the travel situation will open up, but probably not quite in time for Brits to travel over. Pretty annoying as I think almost all Europe is in the same Omicron-riddled boat now.
I see that as totally expected since both his WRC starts have been a bit of a disaster. Last year he was behind Rally2 even without major issues. He was also slower than Fourmaux in Rally2 before Fourmaux got a puncture.
Probably a combination of not expecting a good results and not wanting to put extra pressure on him.
Perfectly fine and logical, just slightly at odds with the MSport PR angle.
anyone seen Rallye Monte-Carlo 2022 - Rally Guide 2 (its password protected...) - any useful information for people going there?
I would think pretty simply if I’m honest! I would imagine that when he signed his deal, the possibility of him not being named in the main team on every event was a very real one. It remains to be seen if on any other events Loeb does, they chose him over Formaux, but I doubt it.
Gus is freer to do his own rally now rather than carry the weight of team expectations. Not the best rally to gauge him on but we'll do it anyway, I hope there's more rounds like this.
Latest M-Sport & Toyota PET's have been on snow and ice, but Hyundai has been dry tarmac. What is the likely road conditions on the Monte stages ?
Weather-wise my app shows it will be mild dry and sunny weather but with freezing nights.
Officially confirmed in bulletin 3 - Rallye Monte Carlo is only for vaccinated people
