Quite heavy one.
Hope Habaj can get his car fixed and still drive the rally.
Great QS time by Ingram.
Road position - Ingram chooses to run 2nd and Lukyanuk 1st...
https://www.fiaerc.com/ingram-choose...rally-hungary/
In this type of weather, with the given type of stages, starting from first position is a huge advantage. Quite strange choice from Ingram imo.
Eddie, I can't imagine any wet asphalt rally where not starting first is an advantage. The simple fact is that even one car can throw a looot of mud on the road if the driver wants to do so and I am sure Luky knows that and will take the advantage of making the life of his opponents harder.
Ingram has his reasons, but of course Mirek knows better as always...

Is Habaj out then ?

It's a fact, ask Loix his a specialist to throw mud on the Road in such conditions.

Starting first on wet tarmac may be a fact normally but these circumstances dictate the choice for Ingram. Plus he has recce'd the roads and driven the conditions and knows what he has to do.
I trust his decision.
Ouch ! Habaj OB.

Question to Chris Ingram from István Simon (Vezess.hu, Hungary):
Chris, according to the weather forecast this weekend, there should be a lot of fog and a lot of rain, which is quite similar to the conditions you have in the UK. Is it an advantage for you ?
Chris Ingram, Toksport WRT
Yeah, it’s perfect. I think I drive faster in the fog and the darkness because I don’t get distracted by things at the side of the road. It’ll be difficult but we like these conditions so I’m quite happy with that.
Q. I mean, you must have a lot of experience in these conditions?
Chris Ingram, Toksport WRT
Yeah definitely, like some of the stages look like Rally GB in the Welsh forests. It’s so dirty, I’ve never seen a Tarmac rally [like this]. These guys, I know Alexey doesn’t have that much experience in such horrific, s****y weather.
Live Stream ?
Looks like Habaj car is ready.
Checked all these... nothing. :(

Luky is so good that he need to get promoted up to WRC2 for 20.
Erdi out with broken suspension.
I've seen cleaner cars on gravel rallies ! :D
Seems like Csomós and Avcioglu are both off road on SS4. Only Cais and Griebel left from top 2WD.
In which place Ingram needs to finish to be ERC champ? in case of Lukyanuk's vicotry
If Lukyanuk takes all points, Ingram needs 10 points to become champion. If he's third on this leg, he'd only need 5 more points, which would make 7th place good enough for the title. Anyway quite sad for people of Eurosport to have a champion who didn't win any event.
They have said many times Ingram needs to finish on the podium.
Luky puncture !

Ingram also takes 10s off Mares.
"Heading to Rally Hungary, a new addition to the ERC roster for 2019, 25-year-old Ingram leads the standings by 19 points from Habaj with Lukyanuk just nine points further back. Based on those numbers alone it might appear that Ingram is in the ascendency, but it’s certainly not that simple.
A maximum of 39 points are up for grabs in Hungary and with ERC drivers counting their best six scores over the season, Habaj and Lukyanuk are very much in the hunt despite the gap to Ingram.
While Habaj and Lukyanuk are set to drop four and three points respectively from their eventual totals, Ingram could end up discounting 12 points from his final score following the finish in Nyíregyháza."
