I assume just Pontus replacing

And no itinerary can be seen... Need one for Pickems. Anyone?
Yes, you are right. Nobody is replacing Evans this time. Suninen and Pontus with WRC cars and Green Smith with R5.

For the pickems, you need the starting time of SS1? That usually doesn't change much.
For sure. You are right, son.
But please, let me handle this my way. No offence.
I´m a bit bureaucratic, you know... ;)
And I want to do as right as possible from the beginning. :)
The RG1 itinerary is already outdated, but the SS1 start time has not been changed :)
Would be nice to see Gill do good in Turkey, he was/is far too good for APRC and challenged Tidemand in a lot of the rallies during PT: s APRC-season.

Service parking is taking place.
As the president was planned to arrive last year, a small field beside the service park was used for his 3 black hawk helicopters as landing zone, it was ashphalted the day before (!). I’m guessing that it’ll be used as media parking this year if not then it was torn apart back to normal for the community haha
28 cars is on the entrylist.
Are organisers getting a lot of money from FIA to arrange a ERC rally, or are they normally sponsor financed.
I hope the entry fee from competitors is a minor percentage in their budget...
so finally a rallying week...
Honestly dont know what to expect. Last year Neuville and Ogier were very strong pacewise until their problems, Toyotas really struggled on Friday but were better on next days. Like we saw last year with Ott, that you have to just mind your own pace and business on this rally and you could get a very good result.
Friday will be a crucial day with more than half of the rally distance covered.
Last year Toyotas were really struggling with the grip. Remember how everyone expected them to fail miserably on suspension and radiator damages based on what happened in Portugal and Sardegna? Maybe they had played it safe with suspension setups compromising the performance? Also, Ogier and Neuville drove at absolute maximum and you could wonder if that was too much for their cars? Or do I remember correctly that Neuville's issue was a mistake by a mechanic? or Mikkelsen's?
In addition to Friday being the longest day, it's also the roughest, at least based on reports from last year. Obviously things could have changed for this year with roads repaired after the rally or deteriorated by weather etc. The only truly rough parts on Saturday are only parts on the Datca stage, and on Sunday only single passages on each stage.
Tanak says he thinks his car's performance advantage will mean he wont have to push as hard as the others and will mean taking fewer risks.
Plus I think with his points lead, a good finish will be his target rather than going all-out for the win. Manu points will also be important to him for the team.
In the WRC+ preview magazine, many drivers said they didn’t know last year what to expect and will have a more cautious approach this year...or then it’s again psychological games to make others drive slower ;)
Toyota confirmed in interviews after last year that they used harder springs and other changes to suspension to avoid damage and that compromised performance.
Both Neuville's (damper popped up trough bonnet) and Mikkelsen's (front diff fail) issues last year were indeed due to mechanic(s) according to Hyundai. Nandan even mentioned people getting fired for that before GB.

New stage SS10/13 Kizlan at Rally Turkey. Absolutly fast and smooth, with not 1 or 2 massive jumps but 4 in the first 1.5 kms !
https://t.co/qZjlzS59PR
Natural jumps I hope...
Natural jumps for sure. It's a crazy fast stage. The beginning has jumps and then it becomes very wide and smooth. Completely different to the rest of the rally.
Is it a typical stage of Rally Turkey?
