The Russian luck is after him now. Pity, very good drive so far.
Damn. Would be interested to know how that happened. Great drive up in flames.

On a road section too which is strange.
I'm guessing brake line was too close to something and was cut and the brake fluid caught on fire
Rounds like Canaries or Acropolis show that ERC isn´t back great again - boring rally.
Others with the problems today.. Kajto takes the lead with his consistency and speed.
Boring rally? Three different leaders, all the time changing the order in top ten, fires... What more action do you want? Especially if you count that it is Acropolis, which is usually with rough roads mainly about reliability and finishing the rally...Quote:

Bostanci stopped in the stage.
Maghalaes made the finish and is 2nd.
Now Philippedes crashed too. Magalhaes says he passed three crashed cars on his way to the finish line. It is almost like a survival rally!

Amen. Acropolis current route seems to be too rough for a sprint rally series based on R5 cars, like ERC is. All leader swaps were due to mechanical problems.Quote:

Agree would love it see it back. The championship needs a rough, attritional event. Throttle pedal works both ways and rally cars are supposed to be strong enough to deal with this stuff.Quote:
