Why is this held same weekend than ERC ?
Almost impossible to get any publicity
To who didn't understand our project... about TER year 0, we didn't worked for have competitors, we're in line with our project and with TER events organizers and we're happy altogether about the results we had in the first 2 TER events. Our targets will be in 3 years and we're proud about the 9 candidatures received to join with us from next year. We aren't ERC or IRC... the concept is totally another. Follow us ;)
Keep the way :)
It’s still a bit difficult to understand TER’s value, but is fair to say that their video crews can make outstanding highlights. This one is from Madeira’s Rally, and although proper rally action only starts at 6:30m (mostly landscapes and interviews before), the footage it’s worth watching.

Next thursday October 20th, during the press conference at Rallye Int. du Valais, we will launch the 2017 edition of Tour European Rally with some interesting news... the project will continue step by step like program... first of all the events will be 6 from 2017; 2 new great rallies have already signed the contract and they will be part of our series in next 3 years... stay tuned!
Curious about that 2 events :)
The Tour European Rally, the new concept of Rally series blending quality events with excellent tourism locations, will expand as scheduled to a six-event championship in 2017. Alongside the confirmed Rali Vinho da Madeira, Skoda Rallye Liezen and Rallye International du Valais, the new entries include Kenotek Ypres Rally and the Tuscan Rewind.
Kenotek Ypres Rally has been a part of the European Rally Championship since the birth of the series. An history-packed event, with the unique atmosphere of its service area set in the heart of the town centre, it will join the Tour European Rally from 2017, when it will also be a round of the British Rally Championship, another premiere.
The Tuscan Rewind is held in late November; the event comprises some worldwide famous gravel stages previously used by Rallye Sanremo, the former Italian round of the World Rally Championship. Start and finish are in Montalcino, home of the world famous Brunello wine.
Both the new events have signed three-year agreements.
The 2017 Tour European Rally will consist of 6 rallies:
Kenotek Ypres Rally (Belgium)
Rali Vinho da Madeira (Portugal)
Skoda Rallye Liezen (Austria)
Rallye International du Valais (Switzerland)
Tuscan Rewind (Italy)
The 6th event will be chosen, and confirmed in the next weeks, amongst three candidates having all a very high level.

So far no a single crew has attended two events. I don't have any high hopes in this project.
Tour European Rally 2017.
The 2017 calendar is as follows:
1. ........................... (Tarmac) April or May
2. Kenotek Ypres Rally (Belgium-tarmac) 23/24 June
3. Rali Vinho da Madeira (Portugal-tarmac) 3/5 August
4. Skoda Rallye Liezen (Austria-95% tarmac) 29/30 September
5. Rallye Int. du Valais (Switzerland-95% tarmac) 26/28 October
6. Rally Tuscan Rewind (Italy-Gravel) 24/26 November
We will announce the 1st event of TER 2017 in next 10 days.
Lyon Charbonnières or Antibes in France would be a great choice :)
Pluto said they are talking with organizers of Rally Antibes, but that rally is in the autumn. ...but I guess really something in France.

Nice events, but it's a shame to have only one gravel rally.
The TER - Tour European Rally introduces the new-for-2017 TER2 Cup, reserved to drivers under 26 using R2 cars.
More news on this exciting new Cup to follow shortly.
Winner wins a drive in i20 R5 of HMI

The promoters of the TER - Tour European Rally are delighted to announce the prizes for the winners of the 2017 Tour European Rally and the newborn TER2 Cup. The winners of the overall classification and of the TER2 Cup will be rewarded with a rally in a Hyundai New Generation i20 R5.
The two crews will race as professionals, within a professional team, with all their costs paid.
Chewon Lim is the first entry of the TER 2017. He will drive a I20 R5!
Belgian driver Pieter Tsjoen considers TER too. He will certainly compete in Ypres and Valais with his Fiesta R5. He might add another rally to his program.
Hope Madeira
According to Hyundai Motorsport Neuville will drive Ypres with the Hyundai R5.
I am definitely going to Ypres this year - could be the biggest field of top cars ever. I can see the attraction for many top drivers to use it as a pre WRC asphalt season tune up. Meeke in a DS3 R5 would be nice and as M-Sport are heavily involved with BRC I could easily see them bringing either Ott or Seb for the publicity alone!
Most likely Camilli and Suninen
Bernd Casier enters the 2017 Tour European Rally

I hope we get to see some regular competitors in this series. Last year nobody scored points in more than 1 event.
