We only know that chassis 28. The other as Mirek said, it is Wevers unit.
I am really interested on his comments about Fiesta R5. I think that "test" will be important to him in order to choose the car.

Anybody @Guanajuato street stage for a drink outside Hotel Luna :-?
The reigning WRC 2 champion had planned to start his 2016 WRC 2 campaign in Mexico, but pulled his Skoda Fabia R5 entry at the last moment this week to focus on his parallel career as a world-class sport shooter.

Thought he was going to be in a R5 Fiesta in Mexico anyways?!
WRC2 round open to anyone for the win? My bets on Al-Kuwari
I thought I read that Nasser was only doing the Middle East championship this year and concentrating on the Olympics? So doesn't surprise me that he isn't there.
One more flight and a few hours away from being in Leon! :D
So: Any predictions for the 80 km stage?
That it will be boring for the spectators that are on the stage. You really see the guys taking it easy, already the last years on longer stages in Italy for example.
Ogier will win. Latvala with a puncture. Sordo also. Tänak with 4 spare tires in the boot. Ostberg second.
I'm quite sure You wouldn't like to stand at the road on this stage...
Frankly, I must disagree here. I was in Sardinia '14 near the finish of the very long (59,6 or so km) stage. What we've seen was very spectacular, drivers were getting near the finish and they could push all the way as there was no need to save tyres anymore. Same can be seen for example on Panzerplatte when they're going towards the end of the stage. Of course that's only towards the finish, being anywhere near the start or halfway is going to be less exciting, unless you find some very special place. Multiple length of stage means multiple chance of cancellation for any reason... That's what we unfortunately had in Sardinia after Al-Rahji went off.
Tom, You don't have only 25 cars running 80 km long stage or so on Sardinia. I can safely estimate that in Mexico there will be huge gaps between cars and many would not come at all. Altogether it will be very boring show.
Also don't forget to add the altitude. You can't push that hard in such altitude due to brake heating, low power and possible fuel boiling issues. The longer the stage the bigger problems. Works drivers will cope with that but the rest will suffer a lot.
The risk of cancelation is there for sure as well. Big risk.
It is a shame about the entry numbers, how does Mexico afford to keep running the event?

Over 300km recce today! It's like doing recce for a whole rally in 1 day. We have a headache. Need to stop for a motivational ice cream
Starting final day of rally with overall result not a foregone conclusion, that is something that always gets fans really excited. Expect multiple changes in overall places during 80km stage.
I for one cannot wait for the stage to get underway. An hour or more glued to split times
How much can road sweeping affect Ogier and other front-runners in Mexico?
i looked at it the other day and not much based on last years stage times and results. Ogier was still the leader after day1, Latvala second with 13 secs behind and Ostberg third with 30 secs behind. They started 1st, 4th and 5th on the road.
Beacuse I remember Ogier moaning before Mexico'15 being the hardest to be first on the road. Obviously stage times didn't show it, but was it because Ogier's brilliant driving or not as bad roads. Anyway now Latvala will start at the end of top10 so if he is in good mindset he could challenge fot the win.
Lol. Ogier moans every rally that IT is the hardest to be first on the road.
To give him some credit, it seemed to me that he was genuinely enjoying the closer competition of Meeke pushing him at Monte and Paddon at Sweden.
I think part of the problem is the wrc media people rabbiting on about it whenever conditions disadvantage him, but they barely even mention when its the other way around (which seems to happen just as often) and he gains from road position.

Interesting to see Hanninen and Lindstrom here on the recce for Mexico. I don't think we have to guess too much who that is for....#WRC
Hanninen ok, but why Lindstrom ??
Flop Flop Flop and good riddance.
