A little bit of everything in these highlights: dominance of Loeb, Hirvonen struggling on tarmac, Sordo bining the car, Solberg overdriving and in the end Ogier becoming Junior WRC champion. Great to watch after all these years:) Hope this year's event will be at least as much exciting.

so the youngsters, Evans, Tänak and Paddon are there for the first time. It will be interesting how they will perform. Others have competed there in one or another way. Mikkelsen could also struggle in the beginning because he couldnt test.

The forecast keeps changing. A few days ago it was no rain for Friday and Saturday and a week ago it was showers for the whole weekend.

I would agree with you that it certainly isn't a likely objective for J-M, but one of the things that he (and others) seem to be focusing on is how Ogier's winning mentality beats Latvala's. At least such a statement by Latvala shows his commitment and improved mentality. Just the fact that he is ready to publicly announce something like this shows that he has come a long way.Quote:

Disappointing... expected more, especially after the announment of the intense live coverage on local French channel.
Will be very interesting what the conclusion after the event will be concerning the very different layout compared to a regular WRC event of these days. The very long stages could cause some unexpected happenings, but also boredom.
