Kobus is really thinking about Fabia R5...

Expensive? €40 at the moment for shakedowns and all stages: http://www.ypresrally.com/en/product...et-%E2%82%AC40
It's not cheap indeed, last year the entry ticket costed "only" 35 euros (32 in presale). Any other ERC event that asks this amount of money? In Belgium it's quite common to have these rates for entry tickets, other "normal" BRC events go from 20 to 30 euros, even for local events in Flanders you can easily pay up to 15 euros for a ticket.
I didn't mean expensive for what you get, I mean expensive for me combined to what I'd expect to pay on a stage-by-stage basis. If shakedown is free, and I'm only going to be there on Friday, I wondered if it was cheaper than just paying for stage entry on two stages on Friday? The 'per stage' info doesn't seem to be available.
The price per stage is 10 or 12 euros I think (not sure). Anyway on many places along the stages they don't check at all in many cases (if you avoid the public areas which are in mostly not that spectacular anyway). Sure it will be cheaper to buy a ticket only on stage.
Tarabus has now entered too.

Loix in Fabia R5 now registered.
I bought the rally pass for 37€. To me it's cheap, because I compare it to Rally Finland, Rally Germany and Rally Sweden. Those are WRC, sure, but nevertheless Ypres is a weekend of high quality rallying, no matter if it's W or E in front of RC. And sure, there are cheaper events, events with no tickets at all even, but still - happy to support.

Are we expecting Kajto to register at some point?
From Ypres rally website:
DRAFT PROVISIONAL ENTRY LIST
Subject to FIA approval
Which means that it will be subject of FIA approval when the entries are closed. or do You think they send new one to FIA every day? ;)
Apparently no Princen in Ypres...
That's pity but I understand they are fed up with Peugeot...
Almost every rally they had some issues and the one in Sezoensrally where they were beating Freddy fair and square was a dramatic retirement the last hope on the title was really gone there. Dissapointment seems to be very big it seems, I thought program would stop after the classic in Ypres because after Ypres there would be an evaluation, seems it won't even get there..
Can Princen change to a better car or was he supported by Peugeot Belgium?
Yes he had support, but I think his codriver is paying the majority of the bills.
True but they are probably already looking to 2016..
It looks like Princen might start after all!
Sorry for spreading the wrong rumour...
Loix, white rims finnaly :)

Will the works team run Loix on Ypres? Surprised to see full works colours..
Maybe used car :)
It's the car BMA picked up today. Normally it should be in the color scheme as presented on the poster of the rally. Also interesting to hear from some people that Princen will drive in Ypres after all... Maybe he managed to get an agreement with Peugeot Belux and/or Peugeot Sport, we'll have to wait to see him on the entry list. :)
Heard now from another source who was at Malmedy where there was a sigging with several drivers, and Kris confirmed there too he will be there. I think he will do Ypres and then stop for this season. Or Loix should retire and Kris wins, that could change everything offcourse.
I just have a look on ERC Historic entry list ... what a pity ...no italians, no french, no usual top cars. Only good news is old belgian group A.
After Acropolis this weekend, there will be some addings. But anyways Historic rally of Ypres gets only more expensive and shorter..
And less attention, year after year people are less interested in the historic cars in Ypres. If you want to see nice historic action it's better to go to Legend Boucles, or to events where all "top-"historics are together, like Omloop van Vlaanderen. In Ypres it's a pitty that historic-ERC and national drivers are splitted (of course it's necessary but not good for spectacle and interest).
Wow, just looked at the itinerary for the historic and is it true they don't run the same set of stages as the modern machines on Friday? Will be a real pity not to see the historic field if so.
Princen officially confirmed: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...81&__tn__=%2As
Are we expecting Kajto or Consani to register? Guess the deadline is this week sometime.
Bryan Bouffier will drive a DS3 R5 in Ypres. Sponsored by Cuckoo Mobile (like a few years ago).
Delecour suddenly on the list with a Alfa Romeo GTV6..
Bouffier almost sure with the DS3 R5 of Jakes, seems some details has yet to be completed.
