Really enjoy this :) Kubica and Neuville at service park. Prokop in the hoods :)

The service is great, but seems there is work to do:
onboard section is annoying. wish you could have a full page of just one driver without the maps
agreed. In the feature list it is written that you can watch either one or two onboard simultaneously but actually it does not seem possible to only have one. Only solution is to put both POV and cockpit cameras for the same driver.
Anyway I think the onboard section is good, it is very interesting to be able to compare two drivers like that. I watched Mikko vs Meeke on SS5 and it is impressive how being a few tenths too late on the gas on corner exit can cost 1 - 1.5 secs at the end of the following straight... Also you can very much notice the differences in driving style -- I wouldn't be surprised if Meeke would go off the road at some point in the rally, as he seems to unsettle the car a lot with very brutal driving style, sometimes landing his jumps with one wheel out the track already.
Got this back from WRC Plus regarding seeing only one driver:
Dear WRC+ user,
thank you for your inquiry.
This feature is currently not availible. We believe that it is a good idea though, therefore we have forwarded your suggestions to the product developement departement.
Best regards,
your WRC+ team
Anyone else got an error when launching live video?
OK problem with my VPN, all sorted out now.
Well in NZ it was a little late on a Sunday night, but I stayed up and watched wrc+ for the live powerstage. I have to say I thought it was quite good, definitely worth the small cost, rather than having to sign up for a TV channel I wouldn't watch anything else on, or having to worry about something like darts or tennis running over time and delaying the WRC!
I liked the added touch of having Lappi commentating, although he was quiet and didn't say much, when he did he often made some worthwhile additions.
Very positively surprised by WRC+!
I subscribed during Rally Finland, but I had the time to familiarize myself with it after the rally. The onboard section is pretty much the thing I've been waiting for the last ten years... Okay, it could still be developed more (e.g. the map section could be selected on/off, more selections in quality, and from the "hardware-side" camera angles and volume levels could be more varied). Single driver viewing is okay, and the excellent feature is that 90% of the onboards have intercom audio in them. For me, onboard without pacenotes is pretty much like Finland without jumps. It also seems that the uploading of the onboard videos is super-fast, they are available quite rapidly after the leg, something a bit like what we saw around 2007-2008 in wrc.com with some shorter onboards (often crashes, spins, short segment of the leader on some stage).
It can also be used to bring whole new level of excitement to onboards – just think of this: lets say that you are a hardcore fan and maybe have some other duties during a rally day, so you decide to (or must) be in complete news/results blackout. Then in the evening, you can jump onboard your preferred driver and have a blast through the stages with them without knowing at all what is going to happen! It's like being in the car with them, I'm guessing moments/close calls might rise your own heartbeat too :) (Though, the problem with this is that names are listed in stage result order (I believe), so you have to ask someone else to select the onboard for you if possible.)
Based on Finland videos, daily highlights are good. They aren't anything special but IMHO provide a good overview of the events and that's what I'm looking for. I would appreciate some more in-depth features inserts, e.g. some technical, event organisation, timing, etc. explanations. Also maybe some more driver interviews could be in place, stage-ends are good but they are often very short.
Waiting to check out the map service during Rally Germany...
How many stages are uploaded and how long?
They managed to fuck it up in Norway so now we have no live coverage or WRC +
Guess it's cos SVT broadcasted Sweden live and some people got the channel in Norway.
Could always cheat with proxy server though.
And another question: can you only follow the WRC drivers or any driver, also of the other classes?
All stages are uploaded and you van only choose the WRC drivers so no support classes.
Are the onboards available at WRC+ in HD/60fps format or it is the crappy versions ? also will previous rallies be available ? for example if i subscribe for GB will i be able to see the ones from the previous rallies ?
is the frame rate and quilty like this one for example or worse ? and can you download them ?

Too much money at steak with the F1 team to leave the promotion of the sport to proper people...
Well, I subscribed yesterday and i have to say that this platform has huge potential. Despite some little problems ( not able to see only one driver at a time (yeah, doubleclick on onboard - but that is not what we were hoping for, right?), for me fullscreen button not working at all in onboard section) its amazing and worth every penny (or cent). Also like possibility to use same acc on 2 devices at the same time. Cant wait for live stages from Germany.
Edit: Quick update. Fullscreen mode finally started working.
I was just thinking that it would be incredible great to see some kind of live "telemetry". Just something like in F1 transmission, showing us usage of gas and brake pedals, what will help us seeing where is the "difference" between two drivers.
the half hour preview "magazine" show for ADAC Rallye Deutschland is already available on plus.WRC.com in the highlights section. I have been able to watch it 5 days before it airs on TV here in NZ.
A little tip, in the new WRC-app for Android you could pay in a restricted country without any problems... But I did create the account via an VPN a few days ago so there might still be some check there.
When using my login on the PC atleast the incar-section and review-section works just fine! But on my Nexus 5 no video playback works, just black...

So if I am able to do an account via a VPN, can I use it on the PC normally without the need for VPN later on?
That worked for me, when I logged in with my VPN-created account this morning I could pay for the subscription.

But try to do everything in the app, that might work aswell.
Edit: And atleast for now everything seems to work on my PC. But no video on my mobile. Bug or limitations because I'm in Sweden?

I think I was mistaken, VPN seems to be required at all times for everything to work properly.
5 eur + 3 eur vpn every month is too much for me, I am going to cancel my subscription. I was positively surprised at first but in the end the service is rather poor compared to the price asked. I'll stick to the radio and the one-off onboards on youtube...
@Evian, give me some time, I give you access to my VPN which will still be good for germany
Live maps is only WRCars?
I'm running WRC+ today from Sweden without VPN.
Status on the features:
Live stages - Will have to wait for SS18 on sunday to try it out
Live Maps - Working fine, using it all day on my second screen to keep track off the action
Onboard Action - Working fine, just watched SS1
Full highlight - Working fine
So no problems for me.
But still no video via the app on Android. But the videos on regular wrc.com-section doesn't work either so i think the problem is because they are using some kind om Flash-based codec.
@miniwintz, thanks for your help but right now I don't have to use any VPN. Might change in the future however...
It's now possible to choose 'Single driver mode' at the onboards section. :)
Enybody has a problem with wrc+? The site stopped refreshing...
Some reason any driver videos don't load for me... nothing... it just sits there "loading"
Re-Live works and Live stages work fine.
Actually, how many stages are live this weekend in Germany? One on Sunday and thats it?
Anybody else who can't play day 2 highlights? The video won't load for me.
I just watched it
