Well maybe not. I used those settings and I thought they were persisting. But I logged out and back in and they had reverted back.

It did that to me once but I clicked to resort and it was ok. Don't know what happened there.
There is still a lot of work to do to get things back to where I want then to be.
I have started having issues that I thought I would let you know about.
Now the old threads have been rediscovered I am getting the threads in a jumbled up order.
I go down the page to Thread Display Options and it is ordering the threads by "Thread Title". I change it too "Last Date" as I normally view threads. (with latest threads active listed first) and select "Descending" order and it returns to as I am used to
Threads listed with most recent activity at the top going down as the threads get older. Which is OK
Then I go into a thread and when I return to the Forum homepage all the threads are jumbled up again and I have to change settings once more. It continues every time I leave a thread over and over again.
Is this happening to everyone?
Default sort order was to sort by thread title for some reason!
Well done Mark. Sorted now. Thanks
You're doing a great job sorting all the issues. We all really appreciate it.
Can we get back the old icons?? I loved our old icons.... the green man with the teeth :D <-is now this ? :(
this is like yahoo messenger with its shitty icons
Can't be having Yahoo! Messenger here  :D
http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/ak...smiley-030.gif I like the old icons, but I have found plenty of fun new ones too. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/er...smiley-010.gif http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/er...smiley-004.gif
I'm facing troubles now. When I am in a thread I can not jump to other pages. It does nothing or jump to first page and only shows this:
Quote:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/forum/html/includes/block/html.php(95) : eval()'d code on line 7 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/forum/html/includes/block/html.php(95) : eval()'d code on line 7
That's because I'm messing with it ;)
And a second issue. When I post, it shows to me that I try to post twice although I clicked only once.
EDIT: Thanks Mark.Quote:

Great stuff. Good to have the old forums back!
Mark, maybe You know about that but when I try to change something in my settings (for example unsubscribing threads which I didn't subscribe) it shows to me a message that I was banned. Although I can normally post otherwise.

Nice layout. Thanks to Mark and all the people that makes this forum possible!
Hi
Realise things are busy ... no urgency ...
If I select to subscribe from the "Thread Tools" ... I get a message that I'm banned ...
However, clicking on "Thread Tools" a second time suggests I am subscribed since the option has changed to "Unsubscribe from this Thread".
However, on my Control Panel page (or whatever the term is) under "Subscriptions" ... nothing is listed.
Also, under "Edit Email and Password" in settings ... there does not appear to be an option to edit email address.
Thanks! Good luck! :)
Man I am so glad we went back to VB!!!
SO, do I have to do push ups to get my mod stuff back?? lol
No seriously take your time I have been really busy at work I am just really glad to be back to this format :)
I never liked phpbb.
Much better now! :smokin:
is there any chance that avatars can become 100x100 at least ?
As long as they don't start making the tables go out of shape I'll look into it.
Nice to have this back! But I have a few issues with it:
Sometimes when I click the 'go to first unread message' button next to the thread title (two down arrows), I just takes me to the very last message of the thread and not where I left the last time I was here.
Editing a reply in advanced does not show the usual button to insert image, url, emoticons etc. Is this a browser problem? I am using chrome (both Mac and Win).
The forum showing wrong time to me. I'm in CET zone summer time now and while I have 17:52 the forum shows at my post 15:47.
5 minutes slow for me now. I seem to remember the last vbulletin installation on here got horribly out of time too.
I have also had the website freeze a few times. Never did it before, its just since the banners has gone green at the top.
Don't know if that was a particular change or coincidence.
I don't know if it has been reported already, but here it goes - when I open my profile, the links on the right are unreadable (see the attachment). Highlighting them works but this is undesiderable. Is this happening to someone else or just me?
On a totally unrelated matter - is there any way to change one's username?
Edit: this is my 777th post! Do I get a prize? :D
Doesn't happen to me I am afraid.
Nor to me I am happy :)
It's happening to me in IE, Chrome and Firefox, with and without extensions! This is weird - I'll keep looking into it and see if I can figure out what could be causing it.
Is there a problem with PM's? I don't think it's working.
Any chance of getting an upgrade to the latest vBullentin version?

I started posting here because I thought this is a place for the new users to introduce themselves! My mistake, I know, but maybe we should create a thread for introductions? What do you guys think?
