I already miss the week I've spent in Vama....
To add some salt on the open wound I'm looking to some pics that nicely summerize the spirit of the place:

Spent many a weekend in the Florida Keys. Getting in some quality fly fishing.
Took the Wifey on a road trip with stops at Amelia Island(Nice Seaside town), Charleston South Carolina(Lots of history and beautiful), Asheville North Carolina(A foodie destination. Who Knew?), Gatlinberg Tennessee(Tourist town but had to say we've been) and Savannah Georgia(One of my favorite towns in the USA). Also drove the Foothill Parkway and part of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
A Good time was had by all.
A few more hours to go to close all open business stuff then it is vacation time for 23 days!
Concediu placut, Ioane!Quote:

They say that during holidays the weather you enjoy is according to your soul.and if it's true mine should be very dark as it rained a lot (not lightnings and thunders though....) and during nights it was freezing cold. The place is superb, although wild, people very nice, although half of the village is from Bucharest.
They also say that in this area is the purest and the healthiest air in the country and it's compared with the air in Davos-Switzerland. However I still feel the smell of mowing hay and cow's p•o.
The place is quiet and boring as Heaven so all I could do was wandering barefeet through the grass, drinking beer, enjoying barbecues and visiting the other ( as boring ) villages in the neighbourhood. When it was sunny I could sprawl in the grass with a book in my hand.
Came back tonight in my boring hometown right in the middle of an ecologic protest. I'm finally relaxed, with my batteries reloaded and ready to face the viccisitudes of life for a few months until Christmas when (as usual) I'll fall again on depression.
Until then I'll smile and continue to dream: next year it will be definitely Barcelona.
He's having a rockin holiday ;) :p :Quote:

What else need somebody to be happy?
Next year I shall also have all these. :p
Better but not the beach of my dreams. I like to lay on the sand (hate all those chairs) and look at an endless sea. In your pic those dams make the sea look like a pool.Quote:

Reading again this thread makes me sad. That was my last holiday and I felt so happy, free, careless and secure.....Just looked at the pictures I took.
Since then I couldn't leave home, not even for a day and that's enough to lose your mind. :s
