It's funny you say that - I was thinking that the other day. The entry this year was great - I doubt there will be 'special' entries - the WRCars cost too much.Quote:

Are Mikkelsen, Neuville, Llovera and Andersson sure for SWRC ,or should we put a "?"
Russian Nikita Philipov is sure for PWRC next year in an URT Subaru Impreza N15. Fuchs is also interested in PWRC for 2012.
I thought Skoda quit SWRC and is just doing IRC, Czech champ. and some ERC eventsQuote:

There is also talk of Neuville on a DS3 WRC for some races, should always be Nobre WRC WRC on a Mini, the pilot of Qatar Al Attiyad but the race in Sweden and Finland should take Ketomaa 6 WRC events.
I heard Škoda would not defend SWRC title but I don't know if it is true (maybe not to fight directly with VW crews?). I also heard same rumor about Neuville in DS3 WRC. Let's see...
Anyway I think that Sarrazin and Bouffier will be there.
Francois Delecour will drive with Ford Fiesta WRC. The car will be in same specifications as car of JML.
So this pretty much tells Ford wont be in official level in the championship next year.Quote:

He said probably will be in SWRC 2012 but NOT in the same car, i don't know wich one but for sure not the Fiat Punto he has used until now.Quote:

VW cars will be entered by VW Motorsport. Škoda Motorsport and VW Motorsport are completely different teams although VW now uses Fabias.
Sarrazin and Bouffier will be in 207's. They got Loeb to win the overall classification.
Thursday 22 december 2011
Closing date for entries
Monday 2 january 2012
Road book issuing and list of entries accepted published
(subject to FIA approval).
Can't wait for action.
Rally Guide 2 should have been issued yesterday the 16th according to Rally Guide 1 and the Regs but there's no sign of it yet.
Are you sure ?Quote:

Who will partner Ogier in Monte Carlo? Will VW-Skoda enter another car?
I believe it's Mikkelsen.
there were rumours some time ago here in germany, that wiegand might do monte with vw skoda.
I don't know if Mikkelsen will be in VW or Škoda UK colors but he will be there.
I dont think so and it would be the wrong playground for a startup in my opinion.Quote:

Unless they got the recce of the three stages on saturday moved Mikkelsen won't to MC as it's on the same day as the first Norwegian rally and he's entered there.
Change in plans, he will not do Monte, he will do the Mountain Rally in Norway saturday 14.jan.Quote:

it also says that wiegand will probably drive all irc rounds with the skoda germany team in 2012 and south african rallye championchip too, to get gravel experience. mikkelsen going to do sweden.
as it seems wallenwein and kahle wont be with skoda germany then anymore.
Thank You. I didn't now that.Quote:

I doubt there are any such roads in France except few passes in the Alps. The route is almost same with last three IRC seasons (all stages except power stage and shakedown were used at least once in IRC).
maybe time to forecast some entry list on WRC level - if any info please update
Loeb
Hirvonen
Latvala
Solberg P
Sordo
Meeke
Tanak
Ostberg
Novikov
