Juho reported big crisis in one of first corners, i guess that is also part of reason why he is far in times. He also didn't do this rally last year wich is also big disadvantage.

Does Meeke start in front of Hanninen? Because i see a time for Chris on stage 4, but not for Juho?
Edit: he is there, and makes best time, so no problem.
Apparently Wilks had a small off in this stage, and looses some time. Nothing wron,g with the car tough. ;)
Next stage, "Errochty", will be live on Eurosport at 11h10 CET. ;)
Please fast a link for live streaming!!!!!!!!
I am so impressed by the Eurosport coverage in IRC. North One/Motors TV - watch and Learn and go out and do the same !

Both Alistair McRae and Dave Weston Jr are standing still on the stage. :(
What happened to McRae, engine ?
Mikkelsen said on Norwegian Eurosport via mobilephone that the new Hankooks with softer sidewalls worked much better, and that they are almost on BFG level !
McRae had alternator problems.
It seems to be a lot of alternator problems for some cars, what is so hard about getting a simple thing as an alternator to work for an entire rally ?Quote:

It will be difficult for Chris now, being 38 sec behind the rallyleader Wilks.
Here are some pics from the three stages this morning, on way to service just now ;) Should be doing all three this afternoon too :D

Wilks also close.... he went off just after these hairpins.

Sorry for poor quality photos but I am doing it through my phone in car on way to service and can't see the screen as it is too sunny
Great work Jamie, good to have somebody on place to give us some info and pictures. :)
I'm excited about Mikkelsen at the moment - not only good stage times, but also consistency - he's the only one of the top boys to have no real errors. I hope he can get a podium here for his fans.
Good on yer Jamie, thanks.Quote:

What problems? Was it not able to fly for the TV coverage?Quote:

Eurosport are a joke. The commentators complain about a lack of entries and them foregoing all the exposure live TV would bring them. What exactly is airing an hour of on-board footage doing for sponsors? Sweet F all. At least the helicopter will be up later when its all but dark. Idiots.Quote:

Wilks retired for the day
I haven't heard a helicopter but on another forum it says it is taking video but only for highlights, not showing live. Following Boland to Drummond Hill now, should be just about in time...
So, by my reckoning we only have 15 crews left in the rally and we're just over half way, no?
Maybe some Superally tomorrow.
Yeah they said it was a link up problem or something for the live feed.
"The weather is too perfect for us to bring you live shots from the helicopter today."
I'm sure the shots they got from it are excellent but at least people will be able to watch them between midnight and one in the morning.
Wilks damage picture and Meeke had a puncture on SS5:

Kris lost brakes completely :(
Meeke's lost 57sec with a brake problem......he's had no luck at all this year!!
I wonder if anybody will be left running tomorrow, shame for the organisers.
Annus horribilis for Meeke, not easy being the defending Champ. Better luck next year i WRC !Quote:

Pitty for organisers of this great rally that there is so little competitors left.
keith cronin gone aswell/bad rally for keith
Proton is kinda trash this year..
Is Eurosport still showing a wet day in Normandy? Thought broadcast started at 4.20?
Edit - race finished, time for Scotland.
Anybody got another Eurosport feed please? Just lost the one I was watching.
