We can assume that a bunch of (almost)locals in lower classes won´t miss this event:
- Flodin - Impreza STI - almost for sure
- Andersson - Fabia?
- Hanninen - Fabia
- Mikkelsen - Fabia
- Brynildsen - Fabia
- Sandell - Fabia?
(- Alen - ?)
(- and what about Ekström - long time no see...)
...I´m quite sure we will se 3/4 of them!
Did I miss somebody...??
Hey, (almost)same thoughts at the same time!!!Quote:

Sousa is pretty likely to be there, Armindo won't be with Ralliart Italia next year if things go according to plan.
I hope it is not only a wish list. :) According to the Rally Guide 1, the closing date of entries 11. January.Quote:

and lets say that Brynildsen and Sandell might surprise as well.
Hänninen´s season starts in Monte and next event might be Mexico, so not so sure about it (car from Sweden to Mexico in 2 weeks, spare car.. same story about other SWRC entrants)?
Well, I don't think that he'll go with S2000 Fiesta, because he has talked about driving some selected rounds with WRC car in 2011.Quote:

But wont't he start in Monte with Skoda factory team's car and then again in SWRC with BRR Skoda? Or is the BRR/RedBull deal also used in Hänninen's possible IRC outings?Quote:

Hänninen won a billion in lottery? Three cars? Even big factory teams have only one spare car for oversea events. Hänninen will not start in Sweden. How-ever, seems that there will be loads and loads of Fiestas (WRC-s and S2000 cars)Quote:

Why wouldn´t one of the best finnish drivers want to challenge the swedes on their homeground in one of the best winterrallies (and fastest)? :confused:Quote:

There will be for sure both top-s2000 cars in Sweden, namely Fabia S2000 and Fiesta S2000...Quote:

And a weather report: Between 15-25 cm of snow last week and have been cold a couple of months now, always below zero. So not so much ice yet.
Today its snowing heavy in my hometown, around 60km south of stage Vargåsen.
Hello,
you dont have news about entry list WRC ?
Just confirmed everything for WRC Sweden, will be there...
On the wrc list just 7 names (S2000 Fiestas and Lancers) and no new entry since 5 days or so... :-( How comes...?Quote:

Because it's not WRC event. It's national event which shares several stages with WRC event. It's run in same weekend but it has separate competitive field and classification, also much shorter route.Quote:

Thanks Micke, it's a great news!

Some new entries, like Loeb and Ogier
Weather report 7 January:
City of Sunne: (Close to Vargåsen Stage )
around 50cm snow and minus 10 degree
Have been close to zero today and tomorrow the weather forecast says rain and +2 degree, then cold again after the weekend.
That is perfect for the stages, because now its packed snow and when its raining there gonna be a lot of ice.
Any body with info on the rally sm seemed to be alot of rwd drive cars in it .I wouldn mind catching a stage of it.where can u get stage times and do they use same stages for the 3 days or only 1 day?
According to AutoSport.CZ will start Pavel Valousek on Swedish Rally with Skoda Fabia S2000.
What happened to Juho Hanninen? I thought Sandell was actually replaced by Juho HanninenQuote:
