What should happen with Citroën after Rally Bulgaria ??? Announcements ???
Very good choice from Citroën, "polish champion" Bryan Bouffier will drive the DS3 R3 in Ulster(20th august)for its first official outing :D

First Peugeot 207 RC in Poland, next week at Rajd Warszawski: crew Pawel Bielak/Michal Bojar ;)
This car was already presented in Poland during Rajd Krakowski, at the beginning of July, with the same driver. I think they have some technical problems during that rally.Quote:

You even can see Nieto's vrtual livery for the Citroën :p :
What cups are planned for 2011 around the world ?
Apparently Tomasz Porebski(CRT Polska)will test a DS3
Yes, that's true. Porebski will be testing this car in Italy together with some other drivers.
If a Country shoud do a Twingo R1 cup or a Gordini Cup (R1), how much would a car be including discount from the Renault importer in that contry, aproxi?
How much time difference is it btw the Twingo R1 and R2 pr km SS ?
A lot, R1 is almost stock car with rollcage. It doesn't have even limited slip differential...
I know, but if you should make a guess Mirek ? 30 hp difference in power.Quote:

The guy doing Rally France in a R1, had 79,5 km/h average, and the only finishing R2 had 86. But I dont know anything about the drivers of course.
Loeb had 106 average, so aprox 80 is not that bad for a standard+ car !
Manu Guigou is the best 2WD driver in France, but in France he wasn't very excited to drive a R1 instead of his Clio R3  It was strange to see this fabulous driver slow slow slow in the Twingo, because when he has the Clio, he is just
So he could have gone faster if he wanted to, is that what you are saying ?Quote:

To compare R1 to R2, maybe furthers rallyes of the FRC are better example ;)
Congratulations to portuguese crew Pedro Zamith/Gilson Rocha who won the 2010 brazilian Peugeot 207 cup
Laurent Reuche new leader of the french Volant 207 today, after his victory on Terre du Vaucluse, with only the rallye du Var to go and close the 2010 season :D
We aren't far to have for the first time a non-french driver winning this french cup...mmmmh that's interesting ;)
Laurent Reuche won the Volant 207 2010 last week-end after Rallye du Var !!! As a swiss driver he made history, being the first non-french driver to win the french Peugeot cup !!! Congratulations to him :bounce:
Will France have a Megane RS N4 cup in 2011 ?
Looks like an important upgrade for the 207 R3T in 2011 !!!!
Portuguese team RF Competiçao will have a 207 with "Citroën DS3 engine" in it next year...
Wonder if it'll be the official factory evo

Exciting if the 207 can reach the level of performance of the Clio R3 evo next year :bounce:
Why no Citroën Racing Trophy in the norwegian rally championship ???
Citroën Norway prefers to concentrate on Petter Solberg's program alone ???
There is not a single C2 R2 in Norwegian championship. At least in Sigdasrally today.Quote:

The Splendid Subarucup also died in its original format, but many of the cars are still in use, but are more or less being rebuildt to full N4 spec.
But the DS3 R3T is too expensive for a 2wd. Maybe a C2 or a Twingo R1/R2 cup would fly, I dont know.
Fantastic entrylist for the 2011 Desafio Modelstand(Portugal) :)
First round of the season this week-end at the Rali Barcelos ;)
Saw that the Twingo R1 will be well represented in the French Asphalt championship this year.
Have been looking a bit into this class, to see if that could be an option for a new cup up north. But so far the only suspension option I have seen is for asphalt. Has it been made, or will it be made an option also for Gravel for the R1 ? Can gravel parts made for the R2 be taken, and put directly on the R1, do they fit ?
R1B is basically N2. I don't think there are any special gravel/asphalt parts for such almost stock car. But the problem for gravel would definitely be an absence of LSD.
currently no gravel dampers available for Twingo R1. Kit contains only front tarmac dampers, the rear ones remain stock. also the lack of LSD as Mirek said.
So what you are saying is that the R1 class is useless on gravel ?
Mirek,
LSD stands for limited-slip differential? If yes, why you say that its absence is the problem for gravel?
Cause the inner front wheel will use all the power spinning through bends, and little power, of the little power the R1 has available will drag the car forward.Quote:

I asked that because here in Brazil probably 95% of the front-wheel drive cars doesn't have LSD. For example, in the National Championship I think it was last allowed in 2007. And there's the Peugeot Trophy too, and we don't use it.
Thanks for your answer.
When kit contains what it contains currently - I think yes.Quote:

The model of the car must be 2000 or newer. FIA homologation (group A or N) is not mandatory but the car should be available in EU. Every car must have a passport (homologation form), which is filled by the competitor. The application for a passport is send to the local ASN.
The min weight for the cars is calculated with the formula 525 kg + 6,8 kg/kW. For a car cylinder capacity of 1500 cc or smaller the formula is 500 kg + 6,8 kg/kW. If the car has a 6-gear gearbox the formula is 550 kg + 6,8 kg/kW. The kW is the power given by the manufacturer.
In rallying this is the min weight without driver and co-driver but in rallysprint and circuit racing it’s includes the driver also.
The main difference is that in group R the dampers must be homologated as in the V1600 they’re free except only dampers with only one adjustment are allowed.
Here is a list of cars that have a passport (situation 2.2.2010)
Alfa 147 (4), BMW 316 (2), Citroen C2 (2), Citroen C4 VTR, Citroen Saxo VTS (2), Citroen Xsara VTR, Fiat Bravo (2), Ford Focus (3), Lada Samara, Mitsubishi Colt, Nissan Micra (2), Peugeot 206 XS (4), Peugeot 106 GTI (2), Renault Clio (5), Renault Megane, Skoda Felicia 1,6, Suzuki Ignis Sport (2), Suzuki Swift Sport (2), VW Golf, VW Lupo GTI, VW Polo (2)
very nice idea with this V1600. If google translates correctly gearbox have to be standard? So no LSD allowed? What are the safety rules? Of course the rollcage according to appendix J but what about seats, belts, extinguishers? - up to date homologations necessary or could be with expired homologation? tires are free?
That’s correct, the gearbox has to be standard and no LSD allowed. If the standard has a LSD, it must be removed or the differential replaced with a differential without a LSD.
The seats and seat belts must be FIA approved. The tires are free. A car that have an expired homologation or a car that even ever had a homologation can be used as long as the model in question is newer than year 2000.
You can find the regulations here V1600 regulations and make a google translation of them. I would have posted them here but there were over 10.000 characters so it wouldn’t fit in one post (I remember that the 10.000 character is the limit for one post).
Thanx for explanations!
